Dog Tag Surplus Black Oxide Stainless Steel Ball Chain Necklace 2 Pack - 2.4mm, 30"

I got for my name tag we wear at my church. The lanyard they gave us with them came down to my naval. I had to shorten this one too, have it so it just slips over my head as I can't get the bead back into it's fastener because it's so small and I have long nails and arthritis in my fingers.

This is a strong chain...More so than any ball chain I've come across...The connector is "the icing on the cake"...Extremely tight and durable...I was wondering just how strong this really was, so I tested it...I put it on a twenty pound weight, and did 40 repetitions with it...I had to keep changing hands while lifting because the chain against my palm was a bit painful, but 40 reps is 40 reps...That's pretty impressive !!!The only downside is that the black can come off...Just how quickly that happens depends on how you use it...For hanging a small pendant under your shirt, you shouldn't have problems...If you use it like I do to carry a neck knife with a rough and unforgiving sheath, expect the black to come off a bit more quickly...The only part I have had a lot of the black come off is the connector, since that's what gets the most use...(see picture- The chain on the left now has a predominately silver connector, and the chain on the right is still totally black because it's brand new/unused)The rest of the used chain is not as bad with the black coming off to really be a problem...And for the price at around $4 each, I shouldn't complain...Slowly losing some color aside, this is a chain that won't fail you...Strong as hell !!!RECOMMENDEDGood Luck !!!

This looks like it does in the pic but it is NOT a 2 pack as the listing title says. I can’t speak to the durability because we just got it but my boys like it.

It is as described, but less sturdy than I would like. I did not realize the diameter of the beads would be so small, which is my error.

this chain is perfect, so far no issues with it.

After just a few days the black color started to flake off. Could have just ordered the plain steel version.

I received this after ordering it a few days ago. The title says its a 2 pack and at first when I opened it I thought it was a 2 pack of a small chain for bracelet as well as for neck, however after taking it fully out, I was able to see it is not a 2 pack like it says, its just 1 chain
