Jump ropes can get complicated when companies try to add tons of features on them. However, the Sportbit Jump rope does not have this problem. In simple words, this jump rope has a strong rope that cuts the wind easily, meaning that it lets you do doubles and triples without having to put extra effort. However, the jump rope is not too heavy, meaning that it does not make your arms tired after a while. Finally, the grips are simple plastic tubes that will not get stinky due to sweat. I personally love this because all the other fancy grips (i.e. foam) are comfortable; but after working out with them for a while, they will get sweaty and stinky, and most likely grow bacteria.The only recommendation I have for anybody who buys this jump rope, is to give it one or two workouts before it becomes perfect. When the jump rope comes in the package, the rope is slightly bent. That means that it will not have a perfect shape when you start jumping. However, after one or two workouts, these deformities go away. I do not put the jump rope in the small bag anymore, because I do not want to bend it again. However, not being able to put the jump rope in the small bag does not overshadow the good things it has.Highly recommend it!

I was able to adjust it to my height, and it works perfectly. I could do all sorts of warm up’s and drills with it because of how flexible it is! Really good for jumping rope, and light as well, allowing for free control.

ETA: After my initial 2-star review, the seller contacted me to apologize for the product breaking and gave me a full refund. While I still don't recommend the jump rope, I do appreciate the 5-star customer service, which is why I bumped up the overall rating to 3 stars.I used this jump rope for daily exercise for two weeks, and then the plastic "rope" sheared in half. I wish I had taken a picture of the break point, but I didn't think to do that at the time. The only reason I am giving this jump rope two stars is that it is easy to assemble and adjust. But it has absolutely zero durability. I was hoping to get a year's life out of this thing.

I have been an avid jumper for awhile. Bought additional sets for my relatives and we are slowly becoming a jumping rope family.I mainly use this product as a supplement to my cable rope.This rope is more durable to use on regular pavement or smooth surfaces.It is fast, lightweight, VERY EASY for beginners to start with.I started with this one and then moved to the cable/speed rope.I would definitely recommend since it stores well and easy to carry.Currently, I personally own 2 Sportbit ropes (one always in a gym bag when I go to the park and one for in-home gym).I store them handles up on an overhanging door hook.These have lasted me MONTHS, and I am sure could last at least a year.Very durable (for me and my usage, which is about 30-45 minutes a day)Easy to useColor is nice (I have a black and a green)Easy to size.Perfect for beginners.

I’m not one to leave a negative review, but the product page is just outright incorrect for the rope weight. As pictured, the rope I received (handles off the scale as well as about a whole foot cut off to size the rope, meaning the actual factory rope weight would be even higher) weighs somewhere between 130-160g. The product page lists it as 1.4 oz which is approximately 40g. Off by an entire 4x. The rope itself has no issues and if you are okay with this weight then I could recommend it, however I was paying for a lightweight rope, not a 150g rope. It was only $6 usd so I’m not incredibly unhappy, but it has completely messed with a few days of my workout schedule as I’m unable to skip for more than 6 minutes without my arms getting fatigued. Again, if you are expecting a rope that is 1.4 oz, don’t bother with this.

In my late 50’s and changing up cardio routine with this jump rope.-Easy to size to self and jumping style.-Durable on tile or a matted gym floor-Packs well for traveling-Doesn’t sting too much when ya hit yourself-Damn good product for price point-May wear down quicker if on concrete or other hard surfaceI’m gonna buy a second to have on hand…a backup.
