Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, considering the price and the other deerstalker caps that were being offered. For a similar price point, it appears that you can get a party hat, maybe with a cheap plastic pipe, but I didn't think that any of those would suit my needs. I wear a 7 5/8 hat, and have a hard time finding any hats my size. The large fir me like a glove (or well fitted cap). I was buying it for a one time presentation at my work (because I work at a place where Sherlock Holmes hats are not unusual) and it was perfect. The only negative thing I can say about it is actually a rather monsterously huge positive is that it was made so well that it shouldn't be used just once and discarded. It was warm and comfortable, which is great for every day, but DANG. That's hot when you're wearing it in front of a crowd and lights. But, in the end, it won't be a one and done. My daughter (a bit of a free spirit) has already adopted it as her own. Would purchase again in a minute, but I don't think I'll have to

I bought this for a murder mystery party. The hat had better reviews and cost more than the others I looked at. I went ahead and paid more hoping for a decent prop. I am VERY happy. Good quality hat that fits my big head. It will probably be passed around for other parties and should last quite awhile.

This is a very nice hat. I bought it as a prop for a video shoot to replace an inferior one that I purchased in a kit with a pipe and magnifying glass. This hat is shaped, looks like the real deal and is a great value at a great price. Thank you.

I bought this specifically as a detective pikachu hat, and got a large one for it- and its perfect. the pikachu hoodie with ears fits perfectly under it, and the hat itself is a nice quality.
