Cute Sheep Wool Dryer Balls,Pack of 6 XL 2.8",Fabric Softener - Reusable,Reduces Drying Time

In keeping with my efforts to make our home as toxin-free as possible, I threw away all my dryer sheets and started using these wool balls instead. I love the IDEA of them, and I definitely understand the importance of using something like this rather than dryer sheets, especially scented ones. But I just haven't found myself loving them like I wanted to.It was my understanding that these balls would soften clothes, alleviate static electricity, and even shorten drying time. I've been using them now for several weeks and I can't honestly say they do any of these things to a consistent degree. Sometimes the clothes have little to no static, but other times they are crackling like crazy and giving me little electric "shocks" as I pull them out of the dryer. Sometimes the clothes come out feeling relatively soft, but other times - especially with towels - they still feel quite rough. And as for shortening drying time, that has never happened. I do, however, love the way I can sprinkle a few drops of essential oil on the balls and my clothes come out lightly scented. This is so much fun - you can use whatever scent you're in the mood for on wash day!From all I've learned - some of it from my Maximized Living chiropractor - these are really a great substitution for dryer sheets. Maybe I just need to try another brand?

They work! I do make a point of not over-drying my clothes, so these seem to keep the static down. I like that I can use my essential oils on them, and they make my clothes smell great, without leaving any sort of residue or chemicals on my fabrics. I am pleased that they collect the pet hair so I don't have to pick it off the laundry. Makes my job easier! And in the long run, cheaper.

I had been searching for drier balls for a while and came across these. I have been wanting to get away using drier sheets. They work great so far. It was pricey but I don’t have the time to make one.

They are good. My friend spent a whole lot more on hers and mine are lasting just as long. Less static cling then when I used dryer sheets. I was afraid clothes wouldn’t smell good but they smell fine.

No more toxic fabric softener (seriously read about what’s in your favorite fabric softener) and no static cling! Wish I could give 10 stars!!!

These dryer balls are great. They are quiet and there is no static cling and the clothes are not wrinkled and they are soft!!! Wonderful

I liked that there were 6 balls and they are good sized . I liked that they came in a re-useable bag for storage.......also I had read up on directions on how to make my own but couldn't begin to beat the price ! I don't ever plan on using dryer sheets again to avoid all those awful chemicals they contain !!
