This book is excellent and very helpful to anyone purchasing it.
I found this book very helpful because Brad has a way of creating a mental treatment room situation whereby you could be standing next to him as he explains what he is doing, and why. Although it is unclear why after the first points used opposite to the painful side, then the chaser point on the same side, there is no explanation as to why he switches from side to side with further points when they are added. Brad advises the helpfulness of learning the meaning of the pinyin names. It would have been more helpful if the relavent English name had been added. Such as Dan relating to Gallbladder.I was really surprised to see that Brad now doesn't bother to use TH.10. Because other top writers of acupuncture such as Dr Wei-Chieh Young's book on 5 Transport Points and Dr Yves Requena and Soulie De Morant say it is such a remarkable point. After going through a terribly traumatic time for five years caring for my wife with Alzheimer's 24 hours a day and virtually no sleep either. When she passed on. The release of suppressed emotions exploded in my head, and it triggered neuropathy as well. Doctors gave me 4 medications to calm the brain, none of them worked. Having been a acupuncturist for 25 years and trained under J R Worsley in 5 element acup. I treated myself and the doctor was happy to let me. I used my knowledge and also additional tungs points and method as well. The only point that cured me in the end was TH.10/SJ.10. Plus at times with GB.38. It has an immediate effect by calming and dispersing San Jiao heat, also in the brain, the pons, thalamus, medulla oblongata, cerebellum, the spinal cord nerves, right down to the pudental nerves in the sacrum. And a bonus, it is also is extremely helpful for distal neuropathy of the legs and feet. As scientists now recognise that there is a connection to the neuropathic problem in the brain. But I suppose it was depending on what Brad was using it for at the time.

Loved this book .
I loved this book . I was looking for a book that would show me how to treat in a regular acupuncture clinic setting . Where the pain is and how to treat it. It doesn't make it mystical or difficult to understand it is well written . I am delighted with my purchase and I think it will benefit me and my patients greatly .

Super-Simple
Both Super & Simple, with images of points, couldn't be clearer. When dealing with pain this is pure gold. I use it for those stubborn pains that I can't seem to touch with Dr. Tan. usually lower back/hip. I've noted the case study title on each page with a post-it, so if I get stuck in clinics I pop next-door to my office, scan my post-it page markers, et voila! Nailed it!
