Shade SPF 30+ Tinted Titanium Sunscreen

Best sunscreen you can buy. I surf very long sessions in excess of 4-5 hours at a time. I do not have to reapply. It does not run or burn eyes. This stuff is amazing. It is a little bit of work to get it off at night, but a good scrubbing does the trick. I love the tinted, because you know it is there and it is more skin color than the opaque. But overall, people have to get over the idea that you can apply a sunscreen that will block harmful rays and be transparent. I also use this on my kids when we go to the beach and I totally trust it is protecting them. Way less risky to their lungs than the aerosol spray sunscreens people use on their kids. As far as the one bad review talking about titanium and zinc being carcinogens, the truth is that as long as there are not small nano-particles, there is no risk. Look up the true facts on sunscreen on the Environmental Work Group guide to sunscreens. You will learn a lot and probably throw out a lot of crap you thought was doing a good job. In fact, these physical sunblocks are far safer than the chemical sunblocks available in most products, especially the drug store sunscreens.

I like it overall...(seller was perfect) .. BUT I didn't read the ingredients list and it has a high amount of that chemical called Dimethicone.. that creates an artificially smooth surface (it's used a lot in hair products) Shade seem to hide their ingredients as I can't find a list of what's in this sunscreen even on their own website. Amazon simply highlight their beneficial ingredients..which is sort by omission of lying really.I chose this sunscreen as Julia Robert's said she loved it for her and the kids...It a tone a little too dark for me, but does make my skin look smooth, but I get the feeling my pores can't breath, like I have a film on it For this reason, my skin is much happier and feeling fresher with one of Clinique's City block in 25/40. I love this stuff! Best sunscreen I've found. As a horse trainer, I'm out in the sun most of the day and need a strong sunscreen. It's a little pasty but kinda like wearing makeup with the fabulous tint idea. This is the only sunscreen I've used where I don't sweat and then taste the yuckiness - this sunscreen doesn't run onto my lips and into my mouth where others do. I love this stuff and depend on it to help against the strong sun rays here in the desert. It can be difficult to remove, but a good heavy cold cream will remove it easily.

I love the way this product feels on my skin. Most sun screens sting and then burn around my eyes because I have sensitive skin. I also use retin-a for acne, so my skin is even more sensitive. This product does not sting when I put it on and it also does not burn around my eyes and it does not cause me to break out like most sun screens do. The tinted one is great! I some times use it in place of my foundation.

Great product, Strider! I usually get the white version but this was a gift for some ladies and figured theyd like the skin tone color better.

Protects my boyfriend's milky white skin even while surfing under the Mexican summer sun. What else is there to say?I read online that it's easiest to remove with some creamy body lotion, so I tried that prior to showering. Oh, difficult to get out of swimwear. So difficult that I haven't figured out how to do it yet.

love this stuff. I'm a D1 college athlete and practice and workout 5-7 days a week outside in the heat. It stays on super well over the summer and haven't had any problems with it. It seems pretty sweat proof, even when I wipe my face I can still feel it on there, not too heavy or sticky feeling. It doesn't cover like a foundation, but really smoothens out your skin which is awesome. love this product

I wanted to give this 5 stars. I like how it looks, but beware that it is *extremely* drying for my dry skin.
