Pros: 1) Amazon’s room of choice delivery service is excellent. 2) This dishwasher’s build quality is very good as is its resulting price/quality ratio. 3) I particularly like the unit’s sturdy stainless tub, its easily cleaned filter, and its 2-position top rack. 4) Though I rarely stray from my standard setting, this unit offers a wide range of operating cycles to meet special needs. The rinse setting is a nice addition for anyone not doing a full wash every day, and the machine cleans very well in every wash cycle. Cons: 1) I prefer using a 40 minute express cycle but this machine only offers drying while using the long cycles. I may opt to unfold my holiday season drying rack, but like as not I’ll switch to the default standard cycle. 2) The controls are a mite quirky and unnecessarily complicated. Installation: DIY installation is a slightly more difficult than average because the water and power connections are located at the front of the unit. I avoided undue frustration by using 8-foot lengths for both power cord and water supply hose. If you have stone, concrete, or corian countertops you may need to provide your own anchors. Finally, if you find the included tiny-print documentation difficult to follow, readable installation and operating instructions are available online.

Do not buy this piece of crap! I paid a total of $400 to two different installers. Door would not close. 2nd installer finally determined that the spinning water jet does not mount on back -- preventing door from closing. Nothing is broken -- it is just a defective design. Water jet is a piece cheap plastic that will not stay on back. Installer recommend that I try to use duct tape. Sheesh

Great product however, the only issue I have is that there are numbers on the top and numbers on the touchscreen but they don't do anything. You need to use the cycle button to cycle through the different options\numbers. Kind of redundant. Each of the racks retainers for plates, bowls, etc are really close together and doesn't make it very efficient to fit everything into the dishwasher

Absolutely love my new dishwasher. Kenmore has never failed me. The extra space up top is great for long utensils. The functions were very easy to learn and select. I love the control lock because I have a 3 year old that thinks she needs to push every button she finds. Extra drying time is a plus also. I hate opening the dishwasher and the dishes are still wet. The stainless steel looks beautiful and it is true finger prints are not showing. So far my dishes have all come out clean and beautiful.

THE CONTROL PANEL IS NOT USER FREINDLY AT ALL, THE DIAGRAMS ARE NOT CLEAR AT ALL! MAYBE IF KENMORE WOULD MAKE A VIDEO OF MY MODEL # 22-14585 IT MIGHT HELP! YEARS AGO I BOUGHT SEARS KENMORE APLIANCES THEY WERE EASY TO OPERATE NOT NOW BE SURE AND GO TO A STORE AND HAVE THEM SHOW YOU HOW TO OPERATE BEFORE YOU BUY ON LINE

Easy install, used 1x now and I am pleased. The lower dish cart comes off track easily, and can be annoying to realign, noisier than my last unit.
