These are larger and cheaper quality than expected definitely recommend spending more money and buying Sitka

These gaiters are good at keeping the snow out! Kind of tough to get them on, but I've found if you clip the front laces first, then buckle up before you zip up your good to go. I plan on using these for hiking and dealing with snow in my driveway! I'm rating these five stars since they do the job. Thank you! -Mike

OK, after deleting the right pictures and uploading the wrong ones I will try to get this review right. I am a med/large for most items (size 10 shoes and boots) and I was very unsure about these in XL size. They seem to run a little small in size since they barely fit me in my light insulated coveralls. They do work pretty well for me over Jeans and insulated boots other than the top fastener is not very tight at the top. They will not go on over my heavy coveralls even in shorter insulted boots. So, if you are my size and want something that will help when your heavy gear is on the size may be an issue. I have now taken these out for several extended walks and they are comfortable and stay in place. They do seem pretty quiet even when walking through heavy weeds and resisted burrs better than my coveralls. They do add a layer of protection mainly from the wild rose bushes and briars and kept my boots and coveralls dry. I have not been able to try them out in snow yet but feel confident they will keep the snow out of my boots and off my laces.I like this product. They seem to be well designed and manufacturedSuggestions:An elastic or pull fastener at the top would allow more flexibility for leg/calf size and a proper fit at the top.Not sure about the size listing. The XL I received seemed more of a large at most.

I really like these. They are quiet, they secure well and they do a great job of keeping my legs dry. I live in the PNW and the damp can be a challenge. These are really helpful for extending the comfort of my outdoor time.

While I can get these XL gaiters on my admittedly large legs, there isn't much room to spare. Fortunately, they are very well made, and once I get them on they seem to stay in place. If you are using them in cold weather with padded pants, you may want to upsize.
