This works as advertised. The starter media seems a little small. But once you soak it in water prior to planting, it will expand and then we'll expand further once you put it in the AeroGarden. I would buy this again.

Cheaper than OEM

It was my fault that I didn’t read the description correctly. These are only the soil refills, not the plastic cages. These do fit perfectly in the cages and everything I planted is thriving.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Updated: After several more unsuccessful attempts at growing seeds in these pods I bought another brand here on Amazon and the same seeds in the same water under the same lights all came up perfectly. No idea why these pods wouldn't work but they very definitely don't.Original: Maybe I should pre-sprout some seeds and then add them to these pods... but while I haven't had any problems sprouting and growing in other sponges, these haven't grown anything in 4 attempts (3 seeds per attempt). They seem absorbent enough and fit the holders well enough (I clip a little off the bottom as they're slightly too tall), the seeds hydrate and swell, but then nothing happens. I don't know why they'd have a problem.

All was good, was not able to find at stores near me. They work great.

Fits my planter perfectly. Seedlings came up in two days.
