Congratulations, You've Taken a Step in the Right Direction
Just so we're clear, you shouldn't put ice in your whiskey, at least not if you want to taste whatever it is that you paid for. That being said, this is a step up from ice. If you must drink your whiskey cold, use the stones to make the whiskey cold, and go to town. As a possible bonus, the stones will carry some flavor from one drink to another, which can be a cool way to mix some whiskeys in a small way (which I wouldn't recommend for more expensive whiskeys). The Glencairns are decent. They hold the whiskey, nose it nicely, and don't feel cheap.

Beautiful and great quality
Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend, he loves using them! They are beautifully shaped and well crafted, and have held up for a year now with regular use.

Whiskey Stones!
Who wouldn't want stones you can freeze so that you can keep your beverage cold with out watering down the beverage.

The glass is a beautiful shape to look at and hold.I love that the rocks don't dilute the scotch.
