i used to use the product in the glass vials and it helped me lose a lot of weight so looking forward to trying this product in the tea form. hope the cramping isn’t too bad😩

Pros: This is a nice tasting tea. I believe they have high quality ingredients. The packaging is very nice and my package was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition. This is a very difficult product to find in local stores so I was glad to see it here.They warn you on the package that it is for healthy people. They also tell you that you should try it half strength the first time. Listen and heed. This is powerful stuff.I decided to try it because I have digestive issues (reflux/heartburn/ diverticulosis) and Dr. Oz had a segment on using artichoke leaf tea and/or extract for health issues.The first time I drank this (and it really does taste nice), it did an excellent job of "cleaning me out". This surprised me, because I had seen some of these teas contained senna which is a laxative, but this one does not list that in the ingredients. However, it was fine. Mild, but thorough. Didn't make me feel sick. It actually made me feel pretty good. But be warned that you do want to take that into consideration.My complaint -- and it has nothing really against the product itself -- is that the second time I drank it, I got the WORST case of reflux/heartburn for 24 hours after. The worst in my life. I took 4 diffent OTC antacids and it did not touch it. My stomach and esophagus were on fire. It was extremely uncomfortable and painful. I have never had that happen before so I blame the tea. (I stopped drinking the tea and it has not happened again.)So while I complain about that, it really just goes to show me that this tea WORKS on your gall bladder and really does what it is supposed to. "I" just shouldn't drink it because I do have problems that are aggravated by it.I will attempt to try it again though because I have to be sure it was the tea that made me have the heartburn. If it triggers the same reaction, then I know. If it does not.... then I shall continue to use it.I always thought herbal teas were just weak little cups of water with no real therapeutic properties, but this tea -- it really does something. I believe it can greatly benefit healthy people. But if you have reflux like I do.... be careful.

This tea taste pretty good with out a drop of sugar! If you are looking for a cleanse this is it! WARNING if its your first time take in at night before bed. My first time i took around 10pm and went to bed around 11pm but by 3am i was up running to the bathroom! I did feel pain in my tummy but it sure did DETOX my inside! after about an hr in the bathroom i finally felt safe to go back to bed. but the next morning i woke up with a flat tummy (not bloated) and i felt great i drank lots of water before and after! & yes it does reduce appetite. This product really works!!!! ITS A MUST TRY!

For some time now, a friend has told me that drinking the liquid (tea) from cooking artichokes is a regular practice in some cultures. My family had artichokes for dinner recently and I reserved the tea. I drank a small amount that night and refrigerated the rest until a few days later. If you like the flavor of artichokes, you'll like the flavor of the artichoke tea. I was unaware of the health benefits at the time. Within 48 hours, I discovered the cleansing properties of drinking artichoke tea. I was pleasantly surprised and felt better for having drunk the tea. With that in mind, I looked for prepackaged artichoke tea to use outside of artichoke season. I decided upon Alcachofivida because of the antioxidant properties of the additional red, green, and white tea leaves. Because I tolerated my home preparation so well, I prepared and drank a cup of tea made with one Alcachofivida tea bag. The next morning, I experienced quite a surprising reaction. The cleansing process was not at all painful (as mentioned in an earlier review, there was no cramping), but started very early, was very strong, and persisted throughout the day. I stayed home from work that day. Now, I am conflicted. The taste is every bit as good as the original tea I made. However, I have concerns about the swift and powerful effect I experienced and the warning on the label that one should not use the product for prolonged periods of time. I am thinking that the artichoke leaves within the tea bag are much more concentrated than the cooking liquid. I am waiting a while before I try Alcachofivida again. To anyone trying the tea bags for the first time, USE CAUTION. I cannot give more than 3 stars for this product because the package label does not adequately prepare the user for potential consequences of drinking the tea.
