My 8 year old drifts all over the place in this thing 😂

The Go Kart worked very well at first, but then one day it began to smoke and stopped working. I opened up the battery compartment and found that the two battery wires were rubbing against the fuse box, and over time, the insulation eroded through, causing a short circuit. The internal mechanisms melted through. This could have resulted in a severe fire, and considering it was stored in my garage, it could have led to a house fire. I have a second Go-Kart, and I took that one apart, and there appears to be no issue. I hope this was just a one-off issue, rather than a design flaw. Please look at the photos.

I bought this for Christmas for my son. It had to charge 12 hours so he could not ride it that day and waited until the next day to ride it. To put it together was a chore. After he waited a day to ride it, we finally went outside and within 10 seconds of riding it, the gas pedal would not work/ it wouldnt go forward. It was still on but there was no movement. We turned it off and turned it back on and it went for another very short amount of time before it once again quit going forward while being on. I was frustrated but we did it another 5-6 times and the same thing kept happening. It would stay on but not go anywhere when the gas pedal was pressed. We finally gave up and decided it was best to just return it. Then i realized that i had to pay the return shipping to Canada while i am in the US. It sucks when it is a defective product but yet i am out more money just to get my money back. I would not purchase this item if i were you.

Bought this for my 6yr old birthday and couldn’t be happier!! Beautiful, fast & and easy to assemble. Once you figure out the front axel every step after that is a piece of cake.

Back wheel fell off after a drift after a few rides.. No longer can use this Piece of crap. ITS MADE FOR DRIFTING! DUH...

The only problem we have is the tires on one of them just spins. There is no tread on the wheels. The wheels are smooth. They love it though!!

My Grandsons absolutely love it! Enjoying their every ride on it! It's powerful enough yet not overly fast for them! Will definitely refer this purchase to anyone with children & grandchildren! Great buy!
