Review is for the HUGH Leverpresso 51mm Pressurized Stainless Steel Portafilter Basket Coffee Filter...I picked this up, hoping it would fit ok for a 2nd Portafilter. I have a Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista, which I have had for a while now, still going strong...This portafilter fits perfectly if you are using the Mr. Coffee, BUT...the original portafilter has bumps on it to keep it in the holder, this one does not. Not a big deal, just be aware of it.What I found is that this filter as compared to the original is much "tighter", and not as much coffee comes through, or maybe just not as fast. That could be a good thing or a bad, but the espresso I made with this filter tasted just like with the stock filter...I don't think you can go wrong with picking this up.

Recently, I upgraded to a bottomless portafilter for my espresso machine, but I faced a hurdle with the non-pressurized basket it came with. Due to my machine's limitations, it struggled to generate sufficient pressure, resulting in lackluster crema. This is a great espresso basket that I thought would fit my D’Longhi ECP3630 but the bottom is a too wide. I should have read the instructions more carefully as it said ‘most models of D’Longhi’. It’s a 51mm size so should fit but the bottom does not. Other than that it’s a great replacement basket for brewing a double shot of espresso. I would be great if all the models that were compatible were listed.

This basket sits in the portafiter about the same as the original basket that came with the Gourmia espresso machine does, so it fits just fine. It holds the right amount of grounds with room to spare, and it does seem designed so as to do a nice job of allowing the espresso machine to pressurize the liquid so when I pull an espresso shot, I end up with a satisfying crema.The original basket that came with my Gourmia espresso machine's portafilter has a notch to match the gap on the edge of the portafilter. It keeps the basket in place unless it's rotated to just the right spot, kinda like a pill bottle lid. This basket is missing that notch, so while the basket sits in the portafilter, it's not held in place. On one of my uses since I got this basket, the basket stayed in the espresso machine when I rotated the portafilter and pulled it down and out! At least the portafilter comes with a flip-up plastic piece to hold the basket in place while you're tapping the used grounds out.

The media could not be loaded.  Holy smokes! I’ve been struggling with the new De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus for weeks, trying to get a proper espresso extraction, to no avail. All the Dedica’s filter baskets are tapered — as is the portafilter — so none of my tools work, not the distributor, not the puck filter, not the tamper.This HUGH filter basket is not tapered. It fits the Dedica portafilter perfectly. With my new Hugh filter basket, I can use my distributor on my coffee powder. I can use my spring-loaded tamper with my new Hugh filter basket. I can set a 51mm puck filter on my new Hugh filter basket. And judge for yourself the espresso extraction that poured like warm honey from the new Hugh filter basket into my glass.This filter basket is the answer to all the De’Longhi problems. And it’s $11.99!

I have a DeLonghi ECP 3420, one of the listed brands/models it's listed as compatible with. It didn't fit in the portafilter that came with the machine. The basket was too tall. I tried it out in my bottomless portafilter and it didn't create a nice stream but instead a laser of espresso that make a massive, foamy mess.Another concern is that the screen at the bottom can't be removed, leaving a space that can't be accessed and cleaned. Overall, disappointed this didn't work with my set up and that it made a bad cup of espresso.

I ordered this to be able to have a spare 2 cup filter for the espresso machine. It fits in the porta filter, exactly as it should. We have used it multiple times, and it works exactly as you would expect it to. Go through the dishwasher well.

Aside from the great build quality, this fully matched up with my Delongi espresso machine and was able to fit into my portafilter exactly like the original factory one. It’s great to have a backup double shot basket, and functions exactly as it should without any unnecessary clogging, etc.
