Great Chalk Pen - Found Dozens of Uses for It
I love this little pen! I got it to label my herb garden and to help organize my kitchen and crafting space. It is a small pen but I've done several projects and still have plenty of ink to do more. I find that most pens have about the same amount of ink, this one just doesn't have all the extra (wasteful) plastic like a longer pen does. It also tucks away nicely without taking up a lot of space.I used it to write directly on glass and on chalkboard labels. As stated in the description I used it on non-porous surfaces and had great results. It is so much easier to use than actual chalk. It has a nice thin line so my writing looks neat. It also is a nice bright white so the lettering really stands out and gives me the look I want. After less than a minute it dried completely so that I was able to run my fingers across the writing without smudging like chalk and some other pens I've used do. This is a big plus for me.I read that some people had trouble removing the chalk from their projects. Once it was dry I used a slightly damp cloth and the writing came off without leaving any trace or smudge. Again, I was using this on non-porous surfaces, not an actual chalkboard.I also bought the Assorted Elegant Pantry Labels from the same seller and LOVE those. They are super cute, easy to write on, wipe off if you make a mistake and sticky enough to stay on all my jars, pots and containers. Once I got started, I just kept finding more things I could label. I would buy this pen again.

I use these chalk pens to mark the contents of pantry items I store in mason jars. The fine tips mean that I can actually write things like cooking times, pancake recipes, etc on the labels , rather than just write the name of what's in the jar like you can with larger items. The small size of these pens make them easy to tuck away in a drawer, which helps keep me even more organized. These chalk markers work really well on chalkboard labels, and don't smudge too readily. They also wash off with a little soap and water, so I can reuse the labels when I switch out what's in the jars. I will definitely be buying more of these! Glad they come in other colors.

Easy to use
I buy a lot of bulk groceries--different grains, beans, pulses, spices, and so on. These labels go on easily and are easily removed. One can write on them after cleaning off the original label. I think I've popped a labelled, empty jar in the dishwasher to have the label stay in place but emerge blank and ready to be written on anew--but I couldn't swear to that. Also, the white ink pen that came with one or another set of labels like this (I purchased others awhile back) was never very useful--the tip was fuzzy and the ink dry on receipt-- so I think in this case I purchased some backup white ink pens just in case, and they proved to be better than the one that came with the labels. (Got them on Amazon, too.)

Be careful! This pen is NOT for chalkboards!
Be careful! This pen is NOT for average chalkboards. I am not sure why the sellers don't state this point more explicitly. I used this on a Pottery Barn chalkboard tile and it doesn't completely wash off. If you read the description of the product it states it is "erasable" on non-porous surfaces. Apparently they expect the average buyer to know a routine slate chalkboard is porous. Well, I guess now I have been brought up to speed. It ruined my chalkboard. Don't make the same mistake I did; buy it only for use on items you are sure are "non-porous." The pen does write beautifully, so if you know it is ok on the surface you are using you will probably be happy. It is a very short and thin pen, not sure how long it would last and might not be easy for large hands to hold well. I had a hard time holding it and I have small hands.

Perfect little chalk pen
When I was shopping for this, I noticed that a lot of the negative reviews were about the pen's small size. So I checked the description and even pulled out a ruler to make sure my estimate was right. Looked like it would be perfect for my needs and it is!I use this on my adhesive wall chalkboards. I love that its size makes it easy to store nearby, unlike a full-size pen. It makes a clean, easy to read line and I have had zero trouble washing it off.Thrilled with this cute and handy purchase. I will reorder when I'm ready for a new one.Photo: you can see how much more cleanly it writes than chalk. Much easier to fit all the family schedules!

So many use ideas!
My daughter gave me a really cool wall hanger where we write birthday names on little circles and hang them on the months they were born. She gave me a bunch of empty circles but nothing to write with. I ordered this chalk marker and it is perfect! I can easily write on the wooden discs the names and birth dates with ease. The tip is fine enough to make the wording clear. My next use is going to be at Christmas. I always get Christmas cards where the envelops are a dark color and it is hard to write addresses. This year I am going to use my new chalk marker to write the addresses on the envelops. It is perfect!
