Simple sewing. Neckline facing needs to be tacked down but one can add a trim to deal with this. The fleur de lys faded some after first washing. Gold lacing is pretty but not really useful, it would be better if it was different type of cording. Is not lined but wasn't expecting it to be as it is not designed to be a supportive gown

If I were rating the dress on customer service alone it would get a 10. When I received the dress I was so disappointed as the fabric was so thin it was transparent. After returning it, the service I received was amazing. According to the company this was not the usual quality of material. I am hesitant to get another dress but I will say the company appears to be quite reputable. If this was for a costume party, I would definitely purchase another one. The dress was made well - only the fabric was at issue.

I bought this as an underdress for a velvet houppelande also sold by this company. They’re both thin, but that makes the layers more doable in warm temps for Ren faires and such. These are not meant to be worn as dresses singly. (I ordered a medium and am 5'6", 140, athletic build, muscular shoulders 34",30",35"--dress fits upper body fine, is about 6" too long, but that's easily fixable since the material is a very thin cotton blend--almost like a handkerchief material. I could probably use stitchwitch to hem the gown superfast)

I am 5’6” and weigh 244lbs and wear a size 3x normally.Since I don't usually buy clothes online I opted for the both the 3xl and 4xl.Yes.Order your normal size clothing.I was worried about the arms being tight.This was not an issue. Granted you will need to hem the cuffs as thankfully they run long.And yes, it is Faire length so it will trail on the ground. You and either hem or by custom hold the dress before you as you walk.Also was worried about how hot a long sleeve dress would be since I am in Florida.Dress is breatheable.Well constructed, I bought one of each color.Now just have to trade the 4x in for 3x.I contacted the seller directly and left a voice mail.When I did the return through Amazon the seller reached out to me immediately and wanted to make sure the order was corrected.Yes. I am very happy with this product and vendor.

I ordered big expecting this to fit all and was surprised to see it fit as one should expect. I had to take mine in to bring it back to my size. For the price it's a great value; although be aware that the cloth is lightweight printed cotton (like a lightweight muslin)

I ordered the wrong size, I assumed it was asian sizes and ordered a 4xl. It was an American size 4xl surprisingly! I had my fiancee (28M 360lbs 54/52/48) model it and it fit him amazingly well and even gave him some flattering curve. I might send it back but I'm thinking of just ordering another in the right size and donating the 4xl.Quality; the material is thin, which is preferred! The construction is pretty good for the price and the lacing up the back is solid. It doesn't need anything under it but would benefit from it.Cons; the sleeves weren't as tight as the product image and there's this weird space in the armpits.

I purchased this same dress a couple years ago and the fabric was so much nicer.This one is a cheap imitation and cost twice as much. Not worth the money.

It's beautiful, but a little small for the size. Fit well enough, but not exactly as expected. I suggest ordering a size up from what you expect to need.
