Chocolate Taste
This is a small bag of coffee credited as being Brazilian dark roast. I enjoyed it, it has a rich chocolate aftertaste but I'm not sure I would buy it again. It wasn't dark enough for me.

A Delicious Coffee With A Smooth Finish But Lacked A Robust Dark Roast Flavor As Advertised
Thousand Acre Roastery Coffee is a coffee with an intoxicating and inviting aroma. The 12oz bag holds a finely ground coffee that is remarkably lighter in color when compared to the dark roast coffee that I usually buy. Interestingly, it was the first bag of coffee that I received that was wrapped in plastic cling film prior to being shipped. When brewed, the flavor is soft and mild with a very smooth finish and faint bitter notes. I noticed hints of chocolate notes but could not distinguish the walnut or berry flavor notes that the manufacturer specified were included in its flavor profile. The coffee reminded me more of a medium roast coffee both visually and taste-wise. I enjoyed drinking this coffee but if you are looking specifically for a dark roast coffee with a bold flavor, this is not going to match that criteria. It is a single origin, direct trade, Brazilian coffee. Overall, it is a tasty coffee but I did not feel it met its advertised dark roast flavor.

Thousand Acre Roastery Coffee
This Thousand Acre Roastery coffee has a nice and delicious flavor. It's a dark roast, and it has a bold flavor. It's made in Brazil. It has a really nice scent when I'm making it and when I'm drinking it in the morning. It's also tastes really fresh.

It doesn't have a strong flavor, a bit weak, though not bitter.
Middle of the road, weak coffee. I'll try using a bit more grounds in the next bath to see if I can get a stronger flavor. This is a review of Thousand Acre Roastery Coffee Dark Roast Ground - Single Origin, Direct Trade Brazilian Coffee, Roasted Fresh Daily, Specialty Coffee from Cerrado Brazil with Chocolate, Walnut and Berries Flavors

A great dark coffee
A lot of darker coffees I try are usually too bitter or don't have a ton of flavor but rarely can they do both. This one does a pretty good job on delivering a middle ground between them. The roast is still a bit acidic, which is pretty unavoidable in dark roasts, but the flavor profile is pretty robust. If you're like me and you like to try multiple different types of dark roasts this is one you should probably check out as well.

Nice taste, but more of a mild blend
It's not clear if the following is because of my personal taste or it was this specific batch or not, but the coffee is by no means dark. Taste was GREAT, but more so mild.
