Ordered a pair of these for my son and myself for back country camping. These are mid grade and not very sturdy. The edges all around the shovel are very sharp and I had to file/sand them down to keep from cutting yourself on them during use. I was afraid the sharp edges would cut through the cheap, thin, storage pouch that was included. And then possibly cut through the fabric of a pack. Cookie cutter stamped metal made in China, with NO kind of product quality control. I do not believe I would purchase this again. ONLY purchase if you have a file on hand to clean up the edges. Otherwise, find a different product. I do not recommend this product.

Ultra lightweight, which also means not that strong. Finish was poor, I had to file down the edges, where the stamping left rough/sharp edges.

Comes with a light weight belt loop carrying case. The shovel is sturdy and light weight. Made of stainless steal can also be used to move hot coals. I recommend this cat trowel for backpacking.

I bought this little shovel for digging catholes while on longer hikes. It is sometimes a little hard for me to get the handle snapped in and unsnapped, but my husband has no trouble with it. There is a little light rust from minimal usage, but I don't think that is a huge issue. It is very lightweight and had a holder with a strap where it could be slid onto a belt or clipped with carbine.

I bought this in hopes to never have to use it to dig a "cat hole" in a bug out (get home) situation. It fits the bill perfectly, making a nice stiff digging tool.

Sharp edges, flimsy handle, flimsy case. At 7 dollars I wasn't expecting much, but this is just junk.

get for digging cat holes everywhere. neighbor wonders who's digging up his front lawn late at night, but I won't tell.

Extremely disappointed. Tried to use it today to dig up a small plant. Pretty much instantly broke. The metal piece where the handle clicks back into is flimsy, and it instantly bent backwards. Poor quality.
