While I don't know how chaga tea compares to say ground chaga ingested in capsule form, this tea tastes and smells wonderful. I thought it would be much more "earthy" but it's a nice balance. I bought this strictly for the health benefits, but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I can get 3 strong steepings out of 1 tea bag. Already I think a great value considering how expensive/rare chaga products are, multiple steepings only adds to that. This brand seems good quality and I'll definitely purchase again when I run out. After researching brands, Sayan came up top recommended for chaga mushroom based products.

I've heard about Chaga mushroom tea from various sources and I decided to look into it and order some to try out. I was skeptical at first about the effectiveness of it and also the possible nasty taste. However, to my surprise, the tea is quite good. It doesn't taste like mushroom at all. It actually tastes a little sweet although there's no sugar contents in the packet. I like jasmine tea and this is just as good as jasmine tea. I ordered more boxes for my friends and coworkers as well and everyone likes it. We are all sipping tea all day now. I'm a coffeeholic so this will not replace my morning coffee ritual but I just created an afternoon tea ritual so I can cut my caffeine level down a little bit. I just can't be bouncing around all day...People can't stand it either...

I love, love, love this tea! I was not sure at first when I bought it, but other reviews said how good it was, so I took a chance and it is everything and more! I love it. I just ordered and received 2 more boxes of it. It is delicious. Chaga is so good for you and this tea is an excellent way to enjoy it every day! I can't say how much I love it! It's hard to explain but it does have a nice vanilla/woodsy flavor! I am 100% satisfied with this. My daughter tried it, too, and she loves it. She comes over for tea a lot now!

I did a lot of research on Chaga itself after exhaustive research I started using Siberian Chaga capsules my reason is because I have diabetes and am looking for all natural way of helping myself. it has only been about 3 weeks on the capsules and I added the tea which I do like drinking in fact drink it first thing in the morning thru out the day and before bed. So far after a few weeks I cannot say definitively that the capsules or the tea have done anything for my diabetes but the case studies and blind test have shown it can take 60 days or more before one starts to see anything as is the case with most herbal supplements and such. This I can say I am feeling some sensation in my feet now I think due to the Chaga it works on your circulatory system as one benefit so I see this already. I noticed I sleep a bit better at night and am now feeling a little more only a little mind you more energy. Has it helped my sugar and insulin not as of yet and I am hoping to see many more of the Chaga claimed benefits as I will continue to use the tea and the capsules. I just like the tea as a drink if it does nothing else in place of coffee.

This is my first time trying Chaga. These tea bags brew a nice, dark cup of tea that looks like black coffee. I was hoping for a rich earthy taste, but it's a very mild flavor. I agree with those who said it has almost no taste at all. It's more of an aroma than a flavor. It just smells slightly woody. These tea bags are a mix of 80% whole ground chaga and 20% chaga extract powder. I suppose if you want a stronger flavored brew you'd need to buy the chunks of chaga mushroom that Sayan sells. You have to brew them for several hours on the stove or overnight in a crock pot. I believe their pure extract powder likely also tastes a bit stronger. I like that their chaga is 100% wild harvested and comes from the forests of Siberia. Siberian chaga is some of the most potent chaga, along with Canadian. Siberia also contains the largest amount of chaga found in the wild. I drink daily for its health benefits. It's a good price for how many tea bags you get. And each tea bag has a generous amount of chaga inside.

I love this tea! It tastes good and I feel that it really helps keep me healthy.

Tea is a nice flavor, very plain and I like it more than a few other chaga teas I have tried. The bags are awful, they break just from being in water. I would say atleast 1 out of 3 cups I make has resulted in a broken bag and tons of junk at the bottom. I just got a big mouthful again which prompted me to write this review its like getting a mouthful of dirt. If this box of tea was 6 or 7$ i think it would be a fair tradeoff. As of now I will keep looking for something better.

Great tea! I really like the taste and if you think it might be a little pricey... here's a hint: You can make a number of cups of tea from just one teabag! It's very potent and tastes delicious even if diluted. Drink it hot or cold or iced... very refreshing! I play lots of sports and it gives me extra energy and endurance. I fill my "water" bottle with it and drink the tea cold while I'm out playing Pickleball in the hot sun or demanding games of table tennis. Keeps me hydrated and energized... who could ask for anything more! Tricia Hoffman
