Literally the best feeling and best build cap gun I was able to find online! My 6 year old loves it and wont put it down! Good size, and sturdy just like i remember from when I was a little boy!

Feels like a real gun without the worry. A simple cap gun with weight to it allows my son to act out and play pretend his western outlaw fantasy without harming any Sheriffs! Really impressed with the gun quality. The holster is flimsy but that would be the only complaint. Orange tip cap indicates it is a toy.

Finally, a toy that someone actually took some pride in making. We bought 3 of these for our 2, 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 year olds. The entire thing is die-cast metal except the handle and a plastic release button for loading. It has nice "authentic"-appearing detail. It is life-size. The trigger pull is probably about 7 pounds, so our 2 year old can't fire it, but he just points it and makes gun noises. The 3 and 5 year-olds can easily fire this with one finger. You can't cock the hammer back--a double action revolver. So, each trigger pull brings back the hammer which is why it requires so much force. There is a secure orange plastic tip to clearly identify it as a toy, otherwise it looks quite real at first glance. The holster and belt are poor quality. The holster is a rubberized plastic/vinyl. The belt is soft nylon webbing and the buckle is plastic. Together, the holster and belt do the job, but given the quality of the pistol I would have expected a better quality. We haven't yet tried these pistols with caps. Maybe in the Summer, which should be about 6 months from now. This is a top-break revolver which means there is a release button the "cracks open" the pistol revealing the cylinder. The cylinder can be completely removed for easy loading.

Nice heavy duty cap gun. Similar to how these guns used to be made to last, unlike most of today's cheaply made toys.We will see if it passes the test of time. Make sure you order the 12 ring caps.

Bought this for my son's Halloween costume. The gun is off great quality and looks excellent. However, it did not come with the holster as advertised. And the whole reason I bought it was because it came with a holster. Now I have to find or make one before Halloween.

If you or someone you know is going to play with this gun, look for something else. The gun looks great at first. I was so happy it was made of die cast metal and not cheapo plastic. But then we actually used the gun.My son was excited to unwrap this gun at Christmas. He loved it, said it was his favorite gift ever. Right away the latch that held the gun from flipping open for loading started to fail. It just kept falling forward. He wasn’t being rough on it. Just pulling the trigger. Okay, we could deal with this little issue.But then the next day the hammer (which is plastic) broke. Just from shooting. Totally inoperable. This brought the tears. Very disappointing. I have ordered a new gun from a different company.

My daughter is a middle child of boys. So we had to get her one for "self-defense". She loved the pink. It is mid weight and easy to use. Hold 12 cap rings. The holster and belt are what they are - a little flimsy but durable and functional. If you have a little cowgirl in your home this is a fun gift.

Such a well made, good looking, fun cowboy gun, had to order two more for my grand kids!
