Looks nice but the handle wouldn't stay on. They include extra screws in the package which tells you this is a common problem. The interior thread of the handle was stripped so we had to figure out a way to keep the handle attached to the tray. Otherwise a nice looking product for the price.

(Woman, 25) This cheese board came perfect in the box no breaks or misshaps with the hard wear as Other people experienced. I got this as a bday gift for my friend she loved it. I went on a train to NYC then in a taxi to her bar party and it still did not break so I don't know how others came broken. Perfect size, I have a cheese plate without handles and one with handles makes a huge difference.

Wanted to love this, but had to return because it was broken. The box was completely intact. My suggestion would be to purchase slate products in store due to its brittle nature. The utensils were nice though!

Arrived unscathed. I was worried after reading the reviews but I figured I'd take the chance since this one is much cheaper than others on Amazon of the same size. Maybe I got lucky, but issues!

Mine arrived unbroken, but the slate itself flakes off and sticks to the bottom of the cheese, even after several good scrubbings to try to remove the loose stuff. If I had to do it again, I'd get a wooden or polished stone (like marble) cheese board.

The package arrive with the slate cheese board loose in a box bigger then it. The slate had broken off in small pieces. The handles were not screwed on. Overall, it would have been great if it didn't arrive damaged. Proper goods who makes the product needs to properly package the slate board inside the box. It was a gift for a friend at a party the night I received. I ended up giving it to her since I was out of town and sent the gift there in advance of my arrival.

Very happy with this purchased! Arrived undamaged. Great product. All the tools were nice and sharp.

This board came in broken very badly. It was supposed to be a gift and I was glad I checked before giving it. The material seems thin and prone to damaging easily.
