I just used this product this morning and I don't believe it's taken any more moisture out of my hair than my old Turbie.

Great for all hair lengths!
I love this towel! Specially because I have long hair, all the way to my lower back and using the normal towels really hurts my neck and head. Even with my long hair this towel is great! Now all I have to do is tuck in the ends a little, twist and it holds with a little button in the back. If you have medium hair or shorter you won’t need to tuck anything at all so even better.It does absorb the water from your hair much better than a regular towel without having the heaviness of it, which if you are like me this is great because I can do my make-up without my towel tumbling over, getting heavy and hurting my neck, or having to redo the towel over and over.Over all I love this product! I just bought a second one for my friend :)
