Good way to keep battery charged.
This is what I got for my dad who does not drive his lexus too much and the battery keeps draining. THis is a good way to keep the battery from draining. It is not meant to jump the car but rather slowly charge the battery. Unfortunately the first one I got was not working. It did spark a little bit when I plugged in but it did not turn on after that. The second one I got works fine. It still has a little spark when you plug it in. It could be my outlet but just note that. Do not have the clamps on the device until after you plug it in. You are able to power the device on and off so you are not plugging a live line into the battery. The clamps work well but they are on the smaller end. You can turn the device off whenever you do not need it which is nice. It does not turn off on it's own so be aware of that. The digital screen shows how much power is going through. The device does get a little warm so do not have it covered or anything. I am not an electrician but I just would not plug this into a power strip to be on the safe side. Again this cannot jump a car but it may be able to charge the battery enough to start the car over a long period of slow charging but it is not instant. The cable is not too long so you may not have enough slack. I could actually keep this device on my engine and have it charging without any issues like it burning out. Overall this is an inexpensive device to have if you are trying to keep your battery charged when you are not using your vehicle and such. It does not fast charge so know it does take time. Regardless of that, it does a great job but it did spark a few times I plugged it in. It could be my outlet but the first one I had did not work first time. Since then though I have had no issues and it has charged well and kept my car battery alive. It stays relatively cool and the controls are easy to learn.

Battery Charger that Charges
The robust metal shell gives me confidence that it can weather the rigors of regular usage, and the compact size ensures that it won't take up too much valuable room in my garage or workshop. I am quite concerned about the durability of this product. In addition, the LED display is transparent and simple to see, which is a wonderful feature that enables me to monitor the charging process and status in a quick and easy manner. It is the adaptability of this battery charger that truly sets it apart from the competition. As someone who is responsible for juggling a wide range of battery-powered equipment, the capability to manage both 12V and 24V systems is an absolute game-changer. Regardless of whether I am charging the battery in my car, my motorcycle, or my lawn mower, this charger has proven to be capable of getting the job done. It has constantly provided me with a charge that is dependable and effective each and every time. The multi-stage charging procedure and automatic voltage detection ensure that each battery is charged in a safe and efficient manner, maximizing the battery's lifespan and preventing any potential damage from occurring. In addition, the trickle charging and desulfation modes are really helpful, as they contribute to the preservation of the health of my batteries and ensure that they remain in excellent condition even when I am not using them for extended periods of time

Powerful and Versatile Battery Charger: Keeps My Vehicles Ready to Go
The media could not be loaded. This battery charger has been a lifesaver for maintaining the batteries in my car, motorcycle, and even my solar batteries system. Here's what I particularly like about it:Multiple Functions:This charger is more than just a charger. It also acts as a battery maintainer and desulfator. The trickle mode keeps batteries topped up during long periods of storage, preventing them from dying. The desulfator function helps to restore sulfated batteries, which can extend their lifespan.Versatility:The charger is compatible with a wide variety of battery types, including lithium (Lithium Ion and LiFePO4) and lead-acid (AGM, Gel, and SLA). This means I can use it for all my vehicles without having to worry about buying separate chargers.Automatic Operation:The device is fully automatic, so I don't have to worry about setting the charging current or voltage. It simply detects the type of battery and adjusts the charging process accordingly. This makes it very user-friendly, even for people who are not familiar with batteries.Safety Features:The charger has built-in safety features to protect against sparks, overcharging, and reverse polarity. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I can use it safely without damaging my batteries.Compact Size:My preferred point there, as the device is relatively small and lightweight, making it easy to store and transport. I can easily keep it in my car or garage without taking up too much space.Overall, I'm very impressed with this smart car battery charger. It's a versatile and powerful tool that can be used to maintain, charge, and desulfate batteries for a variety of vehicles. The automatic operation and safety features make it easy and safe to use, and the compact size makes it convenient to store. Here are a few things to keep in mind:* While the charger can handle 10 amps, it only delivers 5 amps for 24V batteries.* Make sure the charger is compatible with the specific type of lithium battery you have (Lithium Ion or LiFePO4) before using it.* It is not recommended to use this charger on completely dead batteries (minimum starting voltage > 2.0 V).

Versitile and affordable
I was looking for a charger that would handle AGM batteries, especially ones that had been sitting for a while. A nice feature is the 24V option which kicks in automatically. So if you are charging a pair of batteries for a scooter or wheelchair, you won't have to taken them apart. A nice feature of this charger is that it will power off when the battery is fully charged, but it will also turn on and off as necessary as it gets near a full charge. If you have a 12V battery that has low voltage (3-6V) the charger may not work directly. For complex reasons, you have to provide a lot more current in a battery that has been deeply discharged. So what you can do is use booster cables and connect the low battery to the good battery. (positive-to-positive, negative-to-negative) Leave them connected for a couple minutes. If your good battery is in a car, leave the car OFF.After a couple minutes, connect the charger to the low battery and set it to the *repair* mode. Let it charge for a few minutes, and then remove the booster cables. If the charger keeps going, let it run. If the charger turns off, connect the booster cables again. Usually within 5 minutes you should be able to disconnect the booster cables.I was able to recover a number of batteries this way. Let's be clear, you won't end up with a 'good as new' battery. But if you are dealing with wheelchair batteries that cost $500 for a pair, you likely will be happy to have working batteries, even if they only hold 75% of a charge. How much of a charge you get will be dependant on the age of the battery, and how long it has been discharged. If charging batteries indoors, never leave them unsupervised. Check once an hour and feel the battery to see if it is getting hot. If it gets too warm, shut off the charger, let the battery cool, and then resume it later. Once you have gotten the battery to the point where it is 'warm' and you shut off the charger, you shouldn't need booster cables again.Overall, this charger is a handy device to have in your tool bag.

Works great, compact, no fuss
Small. Compact, clamps are strong, good big clear display, I did a regular charge and a repair charge and went to 100% inamatter of a few hours, very quiet and did not heat up too much, power cord is a little short so it was used with an extension cord , small enough to fit under the hood and lower the hood without impact. Will try it out on other types of batteries as and when required.
