Good buy for the
Lid a slightly awkward fit and takes a bit of fiddling to get it on right. However it does what I need it for and it's heavy and solid. Good buy for the money

Cast iron casserole at a bargain price.
Nice, solidly made, cast iron oval casserole dish. Much cheaper than the leading French brand -which is why I bought it - and am not disappointed.Only one slight criticism is that the lid could have a slightly deeper lip on its lower surface to locate it on the dish a little more positively-but it is not a deal breaker by any means. Recommended at £61 !

Wouldnt buy again
Very thin coating inside and inside staines after making a casserole, and does not come off. Dont want to scrub. It is miles off a Le Cruseut
