Duckling Duckling (Life Cycle Books) Paperback – April 1, 2016

When they say a picture paints a thousand words, this book certainly does that. The photographs the author used was bright, vivid and eye-catching. She certainly shows she knows how to capture the attention of kids. The words accompanying the pictures were great too. Just enough to capture the attention along with the beautiful colors on the page and can be read with lots of fun repetitive words to teach the word, Duckling, for sure.

Cute book with lots of great life cycle photos. Some of the rhymes are forced. Reading "quacking duck, quacking duck" repeatedly is somewhat awkward.

Pictures are big and enjoyable for children to look at; words are simple and large enough for a child to learn. Recommended.

These are the best books in this category that I have every come across! I am a former elementary teacher and mom of two and I know quality when I see it! It's a perfect combination of content, real life photography and poetry. It's a non fiction book that is fun to read and has super engaging pictures. I love the entire series and wish the author would create more!! The photos are so clear and educational and fun to read. It's hard to find this combination!!! This is the first book review I have ever written. I am going to buy more of these books soon. My friend gave me Duckling Duckling, but I am going to buy the other books off Amazon soon! Got this as a gift for my 6 months old baby. Great rhymes, easy to read. Big letters and colorful images which my baby enjoyed looking at. Highly recommend.

Although recommended for K-1, my 3 yr old love these books. She loves the pictures, and I like how the fonts are big and bold enough for her to see, perfect for kids just beginning to learn how to read. We have the whole set and she reads them everyday, at least 4-5 times a day. I think these books will become classics, love them!
