Bobby and Mandee's Good Touch, Bad Touch: Children's Safety Book Paperback – Picture Book, July 1, 2011

The message in this book is great for young kids to know about good touch and Bad Touch I will say that the book is very outdated the pictures are outdated but overall the message is still the same regardless of when the book was wrote.Unfortunately my kid went through something traumatizing and life-changing... so I searched for a book that could explain to her what was appropriate and acceptable and what is not... overall the book explains just what she needed to know...I think that every school should read these books to young children so they understand the dangers of strangers and even friends and family.

Perfect for my elementary student I’m counseling. This is a great read for parents to ease into this conversation. The text has an action plan and maybe realistic scenarios and typical responses to sharing in appropriate touch trauma. There’s even activities and a safety plan in the back.

My granddaughters have read this to each other a number of times and have discussed questions they have!!Ages 4-8

Plain, simple; our four year old remembers the important "parts" of the book, so that's good. Not very long, but wish it gave more examples of not touching "privates" and explaining what they are better.Mostly focuses on "bad (creepy) touches" rather than "inappropriate (private parts)".Plus, not very many pages

This book is reading for every child. Give them the tools to help protect them. An easy read and understandable for even small children.

This book was very easy for my kids to understand when I read it to them. I was looking for something to educate them on the issue of touching and strangers and this covered it. It also did it without scaring or intimidating them as well. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase!

This book presents important personal safety messages to children; such as defining private areas of the body, reporting unwanted touches, and resisting perpetrators' fear and intimidation tactics. The illustrations are very strange and amateurish (perhaps drawn by children??). All of the spooky visions of ghostly perpetrators are portrayed as males. I would suggest at least one perp among the many should have been depicted as female, to better illustrate the idea that women too might engage in "bad touching".

I bought this for my 4 year old boy and was really impressed with the story and how it kept my sons interest. It gets the message across without scaring or giving too much information to young children. Well done for such a great book, I will be using this with my daughter in a couple of years.

The book is few in content, easy to read.
