I've had these containers for almost a year and a half now, but right out of the gate the plastic latching knob that you press down to create the airtight seal broke on one of the containers. The little nubs that hold the latch onto the lid simply snapped right off after minimal use. Fortunately, I was able to recover the broken nubs and super-glue them back on.Flash forward to about 2 weeks ago, another container broke at the exact same spot (not the one I glued). This time I lost the clear plastic nubs in the break and was forced to completely trash the container. The entire mechanism completely falls apart if these two little nubs aren't keeping pressure on the spring.I don't think I was doing anything wrong in using them. Heck, I barely opened the things because I haven't been cooking lately. I'd recommend looking for another storage solution with better-produced locking mechanisms.
