Key word "Molding"
Well, I over looked the key word "molding" paying too much attention to the illustration posted. On the picture it actually looks like it goeas over the corner of the door. My metal back door with too many windows for comfort won't let me just put up a regular curtain rod without actual drilling so I think I got a little too happy when I saw these. So hopefully I can help prevent someone else from doing the same if you also look and think it actually fits on the corners of the door.I do have molding around my windows in the door so I did attempt to just go ahead and use it in it's made for use. I tried to just slide it on but it wouldn't just slide on. With so much glass and being a renter I was and still am skeptical on having to get a hammer and tap it into the molding because it is going to need to be tapped unless you have loose molding. So back to the ideas board before I just get a roll of shipping tape and tape up a sheet.

After reading other reviews I wasn't sure if these were going to work out, but they did! I just tapped the side and the top. The curtains I put up are heavy and lined and they are staying put. They are in a room that I don't open and close the curtains often though. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I did ding the molding while tapping it in not with the hammer but the actual hardware. If we're a little more careful I probably would have prevented that. I'm very satisfied'

Read This before Purchasing
Pros - Excellent idea - Great for Light curtains - i.e Kitchen window curtains - Great for behind curtain sheers (light weightCons - Center Rod holder screw is cheaply made and tends to rotate - BIG Problem if you like your curtains to be level. - Does really hold its place on the molding, tends to slip and become loose which enables it to fall. There are two holes where you can tack or nail them in, I strongly suggest doing this. - If you have 2 sets of curtains (sheers/curtains) on 1 window, unit just is NOT strong enough to hold both.Would I buy this again, Yes but only for the inner sheers OR light kitchen/bathroom curtains.

This Week's Thrift Store Donation
Recently I purchased a number of items to be used in a bathroom that was undergoing construction. Unfortunately, I didn't open these until the bathroom was completed, and by then it was too late to return them. This is a poor purchase. While the idea of not drilling holes to hang curtains is intriguing, it just isn't practical. This item is designed to hook behind the window trim; however, most trim is flush against the wall and there is no crevice to force this into. It could probably be forced or hammered into place, but at the expense of the trim itself and with risk of splitting the wood. Even if the bracket was successfully installed, the front hook designed to secure the curtain rod is loose in its rivet, and rotates 360 degrees. This may be helpful in getting the curtain rod installed, but I prefer to have my curtain rods fixed and immobile once in place, and this will ensure they remain loose and jiggly.Once again, you get what you pay for. Skip this one.

Good in theory
In concept this is a great idea. After "tapping" them into place, I noticed that it dug into the front of my window trim. So now, if I take them off, and I believe I will at some point, there will be a scar that will need repaired. Measure carefully and use the holes on the side to tack into place. Also, the hangers spin so it makes hanging the curtain rod a bit of a challenge (I needed someone to help me).I will not buy this again.

These work like a charm but depending on the trim around your windows and what that side trim faces, these can look tacky. They are silver and some of that shows after you put the curtains on them so if you can see the side of the window while your in the room or even if you end up seeing it from another area, the silver is going to stand out against the color of the trim.

INGENIUS !
My original curtain rod holder pulled out of the wall above a very difficult to reach area behind my computer desk/station. I had been putting off pulling all the furniture away from the area in order to re-install it and then ... I saw this product in one of my catalogs around Christmas time. I checked to see if it was available through Amazon.com and ... YES! It arrived very quickly after I ordered it and was a cinch to put into place. I just needed to stand on top of my desk and, voila! Nice solution until I decide to move all that furniture, bookshelves, etc. out of the way. Hmmmmmmm ... maybe I won't even bother!
