Absolutely Beautiful!! The envy of all who see it!
1st: let me comment on how perfectly this way packaged! Yes, it suffered bumps and bruises - but have you watched our postal and UPS people? They are on a tight schedule! The first thing I do with all ordered plants is give it just enough room temp water to last until tomorrow - this poor thing is in shock! Then I pamper it by removing all bits of paper, styrofoam, etc, and letting its leaves loosen up. Take a little bit of milk (yes, milk) and a cotton ball and gently wash all the leaves and waxy flowers. Have a torn leaf? No fear - keep on hand a roll of sticky floral tape used for corsages, wet the leaf and lay the tape over and under the leaf. You will find in a week or 2, the cut is gone! Have a bent stem? Use the buddy system like broken fingers or toes, gently tape it to a neighboring stem until it's strong again. Now, leave it alone until tomorrow. Now, it should be used to the ambient temp and moisture in your home and give it a very good soaking. It will be beautiful and shine! I've had my purple now for about 3 weeks and it's putting out more flower and leaves than I can count! "Candy" is very happy in her new home! Gorgeous purple anthurium
I've been looking for a nice large deep purple anthurium for awhile now and I've finally found one. This is a very beautiful healthy plant with different variations of the color. Very happy, thank you!

A big fiasco
A real fiasco.. Nothing like the beautiful picture on line...It arrived with leaves all bruised up, and broken. The two flowers were also full of brown spots and just dried off within two weeks. . Now it looks miserable with a couple of storks and beat up leaves. Big disappointment since my other Anthurium are all doing so well.If it still goes downhill in a couple of weeks, I will replace it at our local nursery. Never again will I order a plant on line.

The plant arrived before the preview time, which was good to have it earlier... It arrived healthy and ready to be placed anywhere you want. It comes in a plastic pot with some pink paper around it. The color and size is nice, just as pictured.
