I was looking for a way to up my decaf coffee in flavor and presentation without spending beyond my budget. Single Estate Cacao brings the coffee house experience into your kitchen (or office)!When I opened the GLASS jar (I just prefer glass over plastic), the appearance (consistency of the powder) of the Cacao was so amazing - it looked like velvet, so fine, and smelled delicious. I made a cup of coffee and added less than a teaspoon of the Cacao, and then prepared the creamer, warmed and frothed with a hand pump frothed, also from Amazon. It tasted better than anything I have bought at a coffee drive thru! Very affordable so I will definitely be purchasing Single Estate Cacao again. And I like it that the jars can be recycled because I don't store my leftovers in plastic anymore. They really thought this through!Plus there's the added satisfaction that Single Estate is organic, GMO free, gluten free, and I really like it that it's coming from the farmers who grow it and they are gaining an even larger percentage of the value of what they grow.UPDATE: Ordered and received my second jar. This product just gets better and better! I have made it part of my daily morning coffee practice. While I don't froth it every morning, I do enjoy waking up to the taste. For those interested, add some cinnamon and just a dash of ginger for a little extra zing.

Years ago I was introduced to CACAO and it was an ok product with many health benefits. The taste was different because of the absence of sugar. No sugar means a completely different way of tasting unsweetened chocolate ? I know how other brands have tasted to me in the past, but this brand totally blew me away! Not only was it the Freshest but it had a great crunch to it! The best taste that I’ve EVER encountered over the past 30 years ! Totally blew me away that fresh CACAO could taste like this ! An absolute re-order!

This company is clearly ahead of the curve by choosing single-farm sourcing of cacao. The cacao is MUCH richer than other brands I have tried and believe me I've tried brands that are not even available any longer on amazon. It's fluffy, doesn't clump up, has a rich milk chocolate look and taste to it.Only thing I wish the company had was 3rd party analysis of heavy metal contamination with ICP-MS. But all in due time for brands right?

I have been looking for a source of Dominican cacao nibs since losing my previous source. Very pleased with the taste and quality of the nibs. Hoping these will be available for quite a while.

Very pure, such a subtle taste, not super sweet

This cacao power tastes much like a slightly bitter chocolate. I use it in my coffee each morning. I've noticed when throwing out grounds that the cacao powder sits in a kind of clump at bottom of cup. Not sure how much has dissolved in my beverage, and I suspect the same thing may happen in smoothie. Plus I don't care for smoothies. My next option is to try sprinkling it into yogurt. Not sure how else to consume thing. Bottom line: lovely fragrance and taste. But in my opinion, it has a dissolving issue.

I use it in smoothies and baking! Love the health benefits.
