They are a great value for the money. They can be charged with a charging cord, and they also have a solar panel on them to charge while in the sun. They stay off in the daytime, but come on at night. They flash a bright blue and people will think it's a real alarm system in your car.

Work really well it doesn't flash quite as fast as I would like but it work .

Eh... for the price I guess it's okay. Being in the car business I always tell my clients that in order to help ensure that your car isn't stolen, make it as unattractive as possible. I recently took my classic car to a large multi-day event where we parked in a well-lit hotel lot. I pulled the coil wire, locked the clutch pedal to the steering wheel and figured I'd try a blinking LED light just for an extra effect. I bought this and stuff that under the dash so it wasn't obvious where the light was coming from. First thing I didn't care for is that the blinking is pretty slow, only Illuminating every few seconds. I would have to be every second or so. It also wasn't quite as bright as I hoped but it was decent enough for night time but in the daylight it is too weak. Also I really doubt these are solar powered. I had to plug them in to a 12 volt source to charge them up because they just simply did not seem to hold enough charge by leaving them out in the sunlight. I've only really use these for a few nights straight and will maybe take one apart to see if there is actually a solar panel in these or not.
