This bad boy did a much better job than I expected! ImThe deep end of my pool is 6 ft. Not only did it pump out almost all of the water, its suction power allowed to push the water another 75 ft. Through a regular garden hose line and into the sewer drain. This little guy was fast too. The whole process took almost 24 hours to complete and but the end, it pumped out This pump ran continuously through the night and never lost any pressure. Durability, power and barely any noise. What more can you ask for, ESPECIALLY for the price. Amazing product all around.

We have a drainage issue at the south end of our house, where water builds up next to the foundation in heavy rains. The water has to be pushed up a slight incline to get it away from the house. I had a 1/2 hp pump that could barely get the water through 10ft of hose, so I bought this 1 hp pump. It's amazing! It cleared the water in about 10 minutes, through a 30ft hose plenty far away. I mean, it pushed water! As you can see, it has to sit in heavy mud, so I took a 5 gal bucket, drilled holes all the way around about 1/2" from bottom and a hole for the hose a few inches higher. This way, the pump sits in the bucket, not directly in the mud. It had no difficulty with the sediment/particles that made it in the bucket but I learned from the smaller pump that sitting it in heavy mud is not good. Once the rain has passed, I'll rinse it in clean water.Super easy to use, really quiet, and plenty powerful for my purpose. It made life considerably less stressful during this last storm.

This pump worked great. Had to remove some water from my inground pool because the minerals were getting too high. Someone else had commented to purchase the Poolvio 1-1/2" x 100' Professional Blue Backwash Hose with Clamps. Instead of using a hose. It drained half of my pool fairly quickly I want to say in probably about 2 hours at most. Super happy I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg on a pump this one worked amazing. Highly recommend purchasing the one and a half inch backwash hose.

Great little pump, using it for offline circulation in pool. strong enough to spin in circles. I wish the cord was longer, and that it had a riser/guard attachment to prevent debris and suction to floor. Will have to make something or add some side slots. When not needing flush emptying.

I bought this pump to drain my above ground pool. So far, It has worked great. Easy to use with no problems. The flow rate is good and the quality of the pump is good.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this pump after looking through a ton of product reviews on the web and on Amazon and decided to go with this pump. I need something for when I drain and refill my hot tub. The build quality feels heavy weight and durable. The functionality of the unit is as simple as plugging it in, or pulling the plug. There is no auto off. The pump is of a reasonable size. As you’ll see in the video, the power is quite good for 1hp, the suction power is amazing and it pushes a lot of water. I also might mention there are a number of options for different hoses including hooking up a standard threaded garden hose. If I bring the pump closer to the surface of the water, it shoots at least 10 to 15 feet high into the air.

I purchased this pump to drain 1/2 my outdoor pool to fix an underwater light fixture using a 1 1/2 hose. It did the job in a reasonable amount of time. I can highly recommend this pump for the occasional need to remove water from your residential swimming pool.
