Heavy and powerful, nothing like most toys.
I was really impressed with this toys weight and authentic appearance. The red cap on the tip is optional and pops right off. The darts shoot faster than most other toys and can stick to a window from at least 10 feet. If you shot in the chest from 5 feet, you know it, but it doesn't hurt or leave a mark. I bought this for use in a secret rolls board game where you need to shoot a couple players each time you play that it's more fun to shoot them for real the just point your finger at them.

A lot of power for a little toy gun!
This foam blaster pirate gun packs a punch! It's designed with a pirate theme and shoots foam darts with full force. It's a fun and safe way to have pirate ship battles in the home without causing harm or injury. My boys love these toy guns!

Breaks easily
Bought for my 10 year old son. It was super fun while it lasted. Actually shoots surprisingly fast and accurately. The cocking hammer broke off yesterday (it can not be fired) and the return window closed two days ago, so I couldn’t recommend this product.

Nice Pirate Shooter
Like the dart shooters of old, this pistol shoots a single Nerf style dart with a suction cup head.It arrives in a box, with the decorative hammer and flint not connected to the pistol. Those are the only two items that have to be attached, and they do so with ease. The pistol loads a dart from the front, and the large hammer in the rear is used to cock the weapon for firing. The trigger pull is good and the dart flies a fair distance. Depending on your target, the dart may or may not stick. Of course, smooth surfaces are best for sticking - but that shouldn't include things like your television or easily broken decor. The overall style is great for anyone wanting to play Pirate.

Great to start…
At first this was amazing and powerful but after about two weeks of constant use it has gotten a little less powerful. But, if your looking for a unique amazing looking gun for display this is the gun for you.

Quality toy Pirate pistol
This is a good quality toy pirate gun. As with a real flint-lock pistol, the gun can only load/fire one foam dart at a time. The firing mechanism makes a satisfying sound when the dart is fired (not a gun shot sound, but still fun). The build quality of the gun is quite nice, and it feels great in-hand. There was very little assembly, and all the pieces went together easily without trouble. Easy to load, and fires with plenty of force to "stick" a foam dart to my glass patio door (every time I fired a dart, it successfully stuck. This gun probably wouldn't be much fun, compared with modern Nerf equipment, since it is a single shot pistol, and it's too large to be easily concealed. The gun is best suited as a prop for a pirate costume, etc.Good build quality, fun to play around with - highly recommended. 5-stars!

just push in the foam bullet cock and shoot
This flintlock foam blaster really packs a punch. The darts easily shoot 30 feet.It comes in a fun box with a pirate map on it which would make it more fun to give as a gift. The pistol is heavy and does not feel cheap. It also comes with 20 foam darts and 2 plastic decorative accessories that you can add to the gun, but it looks great without them. The directions are not in English, but the pictures are self-explanatory.It's very easy to load, just push the dart into the barrel of the gun. The hammer pulls back kind of hard and if your thumb slips off early the gun will fire the dart, so you need to firmly cock the gun. Once the gun is cocked all you do is pull the trigger. This is a pretty cool pistol and for $14 you really can't go wrong.

It's okay
This isn't really a blaster meant for efficiency, distance or accuracy. It's a fun little blaster. I just wish that the flintlock firing hammer was the actual firing hammer for this instead of a mock spring.
