Got this for my 8 year old son. He is on the smaller size but this scooter is still a perfect size for him. He does jumps, etc. on it and it is light enough where he can do a "jump" and get both wheels off the ground. It looks really cool too and is super easy to put together. I did have to grease up the wheels after we put it together to make it roll a bit faster and smoother (I used Teflon bike lube). Good scooter.UPDATE 2 days later (after hours of heavy use): So, my kid is big into doing “burnouts” - hard breaks and slides. The back wheel wore out so badly that it now has hard angles in it. I am still going to keep the review at 5 stars because, the reality is, you are not really supposed to be doing hard breaking on scooters. But, I ordered a set of harder wheels. The wheels on this scooter are soft, which is great for riding and jumping, but not really designed for sliding and hard breaking.

Bought this scooter for my 7 year old. He absolutely loves the look, the ride and I as the father the durability. Great pro starter scooter! Recommend highly

We bought this to Upgrade our 8 1/2 Yr old to a Bigger scooter. His last one was great but as He got a little older He needed one with a Long Base for His feet. I took a loot of time researching Scooters to find just the right one. We had recently Just started taking him to the Skate Park so We wanted something COOL, FUNCTIONAL & EASY for Him to Use. This scooter by VOKUL fit the bill. It has a little longer Surface area for His feet. Seems easy for him to do The Stunts His is learning & The Price didn't break the Bank. He's been JUMPING & RIDING almost daily.I depend on reviews when deciding on what products to purchase. I take the time to write reviews in the hopes that it will help someone to make an informed buying choice. I hope my efforts are appreciated.Have a Great Day.

***UPDATE***So after my first review Vokul reached out to me to see what they could do to make the scooter work like it was intended. I sent them some pics of the issue and they mailed me a new clamp and tires to try and see if that might fix the problem for me. I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled that the shipping time on those parts was almost three weeks but I was happy that they were trying to make things right. Once I received the parts I installed them I sent my son on his way but the issue persisted. After only a few minutes of riding at the skate park the front wheel would come out of alignment with the handle bars. I contacted my rep at Vokul and they were more than happy to take care of me further by sending me a replacement. Even though I seem to have received a dud I would be more than happy to purchase from them again based on their customer service alone. Thank you Edwin for all of your hard work on this!!!I have only had this scooter since Dec. As you can imagine living in UT it hasn't gotten much use in the snow. My son has been able to use it four maybe five times and every time the wheel and handlebar go out of alignment. I have to loosen the bolts to true it up and then tighten them back down just for it to go out of alignment again the very next time my son rides it. He is a small 9-year old boy that is about in the 50% of his age group in height. I would never recommend this scooter to anyone.

My son got this for his 9th birthday and LOVES it! It's a great scooter for beginner/intermediate levels. It's good quality, looks great, and I felt the price was really good for what you get. Make sure you screw the handle bars on properly and super tight. We did it wrong the first time and they came off, but that was our fault. It didn't come with very detailed instructions on how to do it so we youtubed it the second time and haven't had a problem since. It does come with everything needed for assembly, including the wrench to tighten the screws. We are super pleased with this purchase.

Update: after seeing this review the company reached out to me about sending a replacement front fork. I received the new front fork the other day and installed it. The scooter now works great and everything is just like I'd expect. I'm very impressed that they corrected this issue on their own and my son is so happy with the scooter.I would definitely not purchase this one again. We've bought a few different brands of these and this ones by far the worst. The front wheel sits crooked at the fork a x I cannot get it straight. I've tried everything but figure its juts the fork that was manufactured with a little kink to it.

I got it because his is old and because he is really good at this. His was one of those old metal ones you buy anywhere. This one is quite nice!!!!He knows many tricks and loves to show off (has even some videos online). I bought it because he is really good at it.He feels like the coolest kid ever! He can't be happier. He says it is quite light and very flexible.If you are a "doubter", like me, do not. Get it. My son thinks it's cool, so it must be :)Super easy to assembly, he did it himself.

UPDATE (2/15/2020): Contacted the company weeks ago and still no word. Dropped to 1 star. Not happy with the company at all and would caution the buy to beware when ordering. Not sure how the other reviews were able to get the attention of the customer service but we’ve been ghosted.(Original review): Really let down by this company. My 8 year old saved his own money to buy this scooter because he wanted to have one that could stand up to the tricks he was learning. It started off great but after about 2 months, the bearings in the handlebar collar separated creating a wicked rock in the handlebars. I attempted to reach out to the company via their website but I have not been able to get them to respond to our warranty claim. My son is pretty sad about the state of his scooter that he thought was going to be a much better solution than the one he got from Target. Sadly, it looks like that one may out last this one unless the company reaches out and lets us know how to get this resolved.

What can you say. I bought this for my son who had never used a scooter before. The scooter is such high quality that he was doing 360 jumps after his first ride!

My son spent the summer at every skate park we could find, though he’s pretty new to park riding it held up well! The head bolts do tend to loosen up frequently, which is annoying but otherwise no issues, would buy again

Came a day early. My son, who is 7, was super happy about that. Scooter is solid and the wheels are really smooth riding. We love the bright green color and design. Definitely a head turner at the skate park. Kids come up to my son and compliment him about this scooter. Some kids even bug him to try it out. I'm saving up to buy another one for my 10 yr old daughter. Good work Vokul.

I bought a lower model and had an issue...they not only refunded me but sent me out this model. It's very good quality and really nice.I would definitely recommend the Vokul Scooter's and the company. They are reliable and care about the customer. My son is very happy!
