This pet crate was so nice and looked so fancy in my living room where I was leaving it in for my small chihuahua. However. It is made so cheaply with super lightweight and thin materials that my 7 pound chihuahua literally broke the top part of the door and got out of it. My chihuahua is a little aggressive and so I chose to get this to put him in there while my baby was out crawling or out of her crib laying elsewhere. I literally went to the bathroom to brush my teeth which took a few minutes and when I came back my dog was out and I found the broken pieces with my dog literally trying to jump onto my daughter’s rocker where I had left her asleep. Such a hazard! If I would have taken longer who knows what would have happened. Her little rocker is set on ground level and since she was asleep and the dog was supposedly secured in its crate I comfortably stepped away for 5 minutes max to find such a scary situation. I immediately called and expressed my concern regarding this matter of safety and luckily they let me return it even though it was broken. If you’re buying this to keep dogs away from kids don’t...my small chihuahua got our so easily in a matter of 5 minutes or so!

Nothing, it’s a terrible piece of furniture and it’s even worse to put together. The hole are not drilled properly and therefore the screws do not go all the way through and so the top of the screws became threadbare and they wouldn’t go all the way through. Then when I took out the top it was all scratched and the corner was defective from the corner along the entire front. I let Amazon know and they wanted me to put it back into the box it came in but I told them that I couldn’t get the screws out because they are stripped and can’t be removed. After two calls they finally agreed to refund my money.

I was dissapointed with product for the following reasons:Wood is extremely soft ain’t easily dentedTakes amorous amount of time to put togeather (3+hrs)Instructions appear to be written in a backward manner, not very goodScrews inferno and heads easily strippedVery flimsy even when wood glue used on dialsHowever looks great, but I’m afraid it won’t stay that way longI needed 2 for my boys but decided to order only one to make sure this was the right product for my needs, now I see I may not be able to get another one. Planned on using as end tables.Other than all that product was great LOLNOT SURE WHAT TO DO NOW

This is cheaply priced because it's a cheap product. Unless you're able to use your feet to hold the pieces together in a backbend position, you can't also get the screws into the hinges. This is a 2 person job and the pieces don't actually fit. I should have believed the previous reviews that said not to buy it. Since I was out of town for awhile, the window to return closed so now I have a.pile of junk.

Nice looking additional piece of furniture to my living room, and my Miniature Pincher loves it! Also fits my sister beagle mix when they come to visit. Would definitely purchase again if needed. One downside was the assemble of this. I did it completely on my own and it would have been much easier with two people, but it was very difficult to screw all the pieces in properly without stripping the heads of the screws. So be careful!

I have a small Chinese crested dog that is crate trained ( metal kind) and bought this for it and it’s like a prison cell. THe dog chewed right through the pressed wood and destroyed it overnight. THe only way small dogs can see out it is to stand on back legs and that means you can’t see them either if they’re laying down- waste of money- stick to the metal crate/ that dog is not a chewer but can’t see through the sides so it tore it up (3lb dog chewed it up) the door is on the end so it can only position really one way- waste of money- I would rate no star if that was an option

Fairly cheesy product. A pain to assemble as tiny screws easily stripped, 1 screw head broke off. Top was scratched, wood finish uneven with visible brush strokes & word joints. Looks better than a plastic crate but certainly not furniture quality.The dog bed provided is smaller than the crate. I'd prefer one with a better fit. Hopefully it's washable.Hardware is flimsy & cheap. This will be ok for our small dogs who are happy in a crate, but a larger active dog could break out easily. There are better products out there for higher price - worth the investment for quality.

Hardest thing to put together we have ever seen. Took 2 of us and could have used 2 more people. Dow pins were so sloppy they would not stay in. My husband has put together many things over the years, but, this was the worst.
