Awesome. Beautiful material. Made mermaid tails for centerpieces for an event. Looked great.

scales are small and is NOT suitable for swimwear
This will not work as swim wear. It is see through between the scales and the sun would burn your skin. The scales are small. The description says the scales are 4", but they are about a half inch. It is pretty and sparkly and washed and dried well. It is not heavyweight like the description says.It is absolutely beautiful though and I would buy it again. Just keep in mind that the description is not correct.

Cute good fabric
Good material for tumbling/swim suits. Only complaint I have is that it does shed sparkles at first. At a couple washes I haven’t had a problem with that.
