My sons and their friends love this. It doesn't absorb water and is softer than a traditional football. Super lightweight. They've used this at the beach and the pool, and inside the house like the maniacs that they are. Surpringly no one had gotten hurt and nothing has been broken. Knock on wood. Some of the "stitches" are coming loose though. Annoying but bearable. We will keep it. They have fun.

Great toy for the pool (and probably the beach or lake) Texture is nice, not too slick when wet... and holds up fairly well. Came a little under inflated, but nothing that couldnt be fixed. I suppose the amount of air is more of a preference anyway. Happy with the purchase.

I bought this waterproof football for my son, and it’s been a great addition to our beach and pool days. It’s lightweight, easy to grip even when wet, and durable enough to handle lots of tossing around. We’re at the water a lot in the summer, so this now lives in our pool bag. Simple, fun, and totally worth it for keeping kids (and adults) entertained in and out of the water.

This soft well built football is great for pools and backyards. It does not get waterlogged like most nurf balls. It is also very good for young children who might find a standard football too hard to catch. I would not recommend using it on hard surfaces which would cause its soft shell to be damaged.

Let me start by saying this ball is so waterproof, I’m pretty sure it could survive a monsoon in a teacup. My old “regular” football used to get soggy and sad after 5 minutes in the pool, like a disappointed parent watching me attempt a spiral. But the SwimWays Hydro? This thing’s buoyancy rivals my uncle’s inflatable pool swan. We took it to a family BBQ, and let me tell you, nothing brings out your competitive side like your 8-year-old niece screaming, “THROW IT, CHAMP!” only to watch you faceplant mid-catch. The ball, however, soared like a majestic, blue, slightly deflated eagle. It’s lightweight enough for kids to chuck but durable enough to survive Uncle Dave’s “I-still-got-it” overhand fastballs (spoiler: he doesn’t). Bonus: When my cousin “accidentally” beaned me in the face, it didn’t hurt—just left a splash mark that made me look like I’d cried during Frozen 2. Cue a splash war that ended with three adults in timeout and a dog stealing the hot dogs. Five stars—would play again, but maybe invest in goggles.
