Was worried about my maidenhair fern as I was going away for two weeks and the plant was in relatively poor condition. My first impression upon receiving the order was that the globes were a bit bulky, cheap-looking and intrusive. I had no choice but to try, though, so I did my best to carve a whole in the pot and stick the device in without stabbing the plant's roots, not really knowing what I was doing. To my surprise, I found the fern in better shape when I returned home. The soil had remained humid without excessive moisture and, what do you know, there was even a new sprout! This might not be the finest solution but it seems to be better than my black thumb, at least for my little maidenhair fern.

Bought these little guys to take care of the plants while away on a long easter weekend.Weather forecast said it would get quite sunny, so I thought these would definitely help. Came back, everything had grown big time. I like to think it was also down to good watering :)

Works well

Look stylish at first, and do work well to keep small pots from drying out when used according to instructions but unfortunately algae inevitably seems to build up inside them and is very hard to remove which makes the globes look very unsightly.

Neat and effective

Bought this pair to replace a couple of glass water globes - that actually worked fine but came in an ugly blue colour and had lost some chips lost at the end of their stems. These are transparent plastic, so more durable and are somewhat less distracting in our interior.However the stem is very wide vs our glass bulbs that have a very thin stem. And as a result rather than receiving a steady trickle of water for say 2 or 3 weeks the globe is likely to empty itself soon within a day, depending on the type of soil you put it into.

Der Urlaub ist vorbei und meine innig geliebten Zimmerpflanzen leben noch!Die Bewässerungskugeln haben ihre Aufgabe sehr gut erfüllt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Sie sind zwar aus Plastik, was nicht gerade Öko ist, aber dafür werden sie mir eine lange Zeit zu Diensten sein.Ich hatte die Kugeln an zwei heißen Augustwochen an Alocasien, Pilea P., Fittonie, Syngonium und einem Banyan Ficus angebracht. Allen geht es sehr gut.Ein paar andere Pflanzen habe ich mir Wassereimer und Baumwolldochten versorgt, was auch klappt. Jedoch ist die Kugel die zuverlässigere, sauberere und bequemere Methode.

Esteticamente molto carini, e molto funzionali, al posto di utilizzare le classiche bottiglie di plastica! Fanno il loro, con un bell'aspetto :)

Schnelle Lieferung, gute Verarbeitung des Produktes. Farbe sieht genau so aus. Habe die Durstkugeln auch in Lila bestellt. Leider habe ich nicht auf die Grösse geschaut. Für meine kleineren Pflanzen sind die Kugeln zu gross.

Idéal pour apporter une réserve d’eau quand on s’absente. Il faut que la plante soit de bonne taille et effet joli parmi les feuilles.
