Both my kids 3yrs and 4yrs used these knives and still do at 4/5yrs they are super easy for them to hold and cut with. Also from a parent perspective they are super safe for them to use without having any sharp edges.

The hole for the index finger helped my toddler a lot. Any other play knife without hole for the index, he would always use them upside down..

Too large for hands

Bought for my daughter who has dexterity issues. Finger hole helps her to cut and it is safe enough to allow her to help in the kitchen.
