1) No Pinched Fingers; I remember pinching my fingers many times on Boy Scout camping trips in my youth. 2) No overextension of roasting fork, or having to rescue hot dog/ roasting basket/ vegetable attached to aforementioned roasting fork that fell into the campfire. 3) No separation of sliding parts at the joining parts, referring back to point #2. 4) Easy-to-hold handle stays put in campers' hands, not flimsy (or meltable) plastic-coated wire. 5) Definitely a far cry from bent wire coathangers that I remember using as a kid. 6) Easy to use right out of the box; no machine oil to add, no instruction to "work it out, stiffness will resolve after many uses". 7) No funny packing smell. 8) Just-right length of extended roasting stick, no one winds up with singed hand/arm hairs (at least, not during the roasting part of the campfire). 9) If you have a spare roasting stick, it can safely serve to hold a roll of toilet paper off the ground while outdoors. 10) Why not dust off that fondue pot you got as a wedding gift, but now takes up storage space in the garage? Give it a go, you just might rediscover the 1970's joy of fondue! Some warnings: These sticks will not fend off bears or any other animal. No one would confuse these with any kind of weapon. These will not double as tent pegs, lawn darts (which are illegal anyway), trail markings, road signposts, fishing poles, fly swatters, yarn spools, or occupational therapy adaptive equipment. I mean, come on.

There are so many great things to say about these sticks! They are sturdy, even when expanded to their full length. They have a wooden handle to hold. They are easy to clean. There are little rubber tip covers for the points for storing and a little bag of extra tip covers. Even though they expand to nearly 3 feet, they come retracted to 14" and packed in a very convenient storage bag making them super easy to slip into a picnic basket or backpack. Ours are stored in a drawer along with other kitchen whatnots. This is one of the best products I've found on Amazon!

Easy, convenient and great to have on hand

Bought these before I went on a two day camping trip with my buddy’s and they are pretty good for the price, most stores will sell one of these for this 6 pack so it’s a good deal, I like that they are color coded and are a decent length, the durability of these are decent, when using them for hot dogs the poles would bend a lot because of the weight, but if used for just s’mores you will have no problem and will be great for it, one of the sticks did end up snapping at the handle after attempting to put on two hot dogs but to be fair I was pushing the limits of the durability but still great for the price and quality overall

I love that there are 6 sticks and that they extend to 34”. You can actually sit back in your chair and still be able to roast marshmallows. The fact that you can turn whatever you are roasting over with just a turn of the wheel with your thumb is an added bonus. If you feel it spins too freely just rest your thumb on the wheel. No problem. My future son-in-law was also super impressed with these. At first he didn’t extend his all the way out. Then he saw that it could extend farther and his jaw dropped. Our whole family loves them and because they were color-coded we did not get them mixed up. In between roasting you can shorten them too so that they are not in anyone’s way. They came with extra tips for the ends. We just put the ones we were using in a little cup while we were roasting but if you lose a tip, you can always stick straws that are cut a little longer than the prongs over each prong. I have done that in the past with a set of turkey lifters and it works. Judging by the interactions with the questions, the company who sells these are ready to help. There are a lot like these out there but looking at the reviews lookalikes don’t always mean they are the same. Judge for yourself. I can’t say enough about these.

We have some 3 ft heavy-duty roasting poles that we use with our home fire pit, but are too cumbersome and long for car camping. Our retractable sticks were lighter and more compact, did the job, but they were flimsy and had to be held "just so" in order for the mallow or veggie dog not to fall into the fire. These sticks are the melding of the good parts of both - heavy duty and retractable. the different colors are fun, the u-shape tong are spaced nicely for two to four mallows, or a stable hold onto a veggie dog or sausage. The metal is thick, so they are cut on an angle, making the edges sharp for easy placement. They are a bit heavier than our old flimsy retractables, but still compact. I am hopeful that the red nubs that are on the ends for protection from the sharp edge don't get lost, but since we also received a handy carrying bag, there will still be some protection. I also love that they are called Marshmallow Symphony - the name epitomizes happiness, fun and harmony!

Love this set of roasting sticks! We got them to use for barbecues and roasting in front of campfires. They’re lightweight and we love the color coded handles so it’s easy to differentiate. The sticks have a rotation mechanism so it saves your hand and wrist from doing all the hard work. And they’re also easy to clean and store in its own pouch. A great buy and best of all, great customer service hands down.

Those work so great I have bought my family sets as well. Love that the rotate and extend a safe distance for my kids.
