Works like a champ
Really fun shooting tree, glad I got it and would recommend it to others. I had no issues putting it together, in fact I can do it in about a minute. All paddles work smooth and flip when they are shot. I usually set these up at about a 45 foot minimum distance. Shot them with 9 mm and 22 pistols, and no issues there either. After about three days of shooting they do get a little beat up. Not a big deal at all. All I do is sand them with a disc sander and spray paint with bright yellow brake caliper paint to freshen them up. My photo shows a before and after.Other reviewer’s had mentioned that the base is a little flimsy. The metal base flexes a bit, but as long as the stand is on level ground the base will work fine, and the tree will work as designed. Also, other reviewer‘s had mentioned that the case that the stand comes in had broke on them during delivery, or was flimsy. The case I got is probably about the minimum strength what you would want to carry something heavy like this in. However the one I have works fine and so far no issues holding the tree stand when it is disassembled.Had a great experience with receiving the order. I’m in Colorado and ordered this from Amazon on a Friday, and got it two days later on Sunday.

Great target
Good times. Easy set up and break down. Well made.

Great Value-Great Price
The steel set is great. In fairness, the blow-molded case, while designed well, struggles to keep all latches closed and the clamshell design makes the handle difficult to carry the set; the set is 60 pounds! Really, the blow-molded case is overwhelmed with the weight of the steel within, and thus slightly distorts when carried. But the target set itself, seems extremely nicely designed! Can't wait to shoot at it with my Pistol Range Partners!

Protect the Base
Solid product: Appreciate the case, appreciate the value with thick metal plates and tower to weather 1000s of rounds. It was easy to setup, everything functioned quite well and we had a great time shooting with it.That said the base (two cross legs and square holding plate) are made of much thinner metal than the tower and given the bottom paddle is quite close to said base... with off shots those legs will rapidly deform. My setup took two off shots and will take quite a hammer job to get them back into form, also prevented me from repacking back into the case from the range...No doubt this is a cost saving measure as the overall value is legit. I just recommend you take measures to protect the base. Otherwise wouldve been fine paying a bit extra for the thicker metal and or increasing the height of the main tower so that the bottom paddle is a good 6-12 inches higher to avoid destroying said base over time.

Very well made and sturdy.
9mm doesn’t leave any divots, 223 steel core does :-) tiny. Excellent product. Keep in mind the target was only 50 yards away for the rifle…. Half of recommended distance. Even then it faired very well. Next time will go through 6.5 Creedmore at 100 yards. I don’t expect any problems. Very well done. People previously complained about the carrying case which is basically a rifle case. It could have been upgraded since then. I didn’t see any problem. I think it is not any worse case the Daniel Defense rifle comes in if you buy one…for almost 2 grand…. This dueling tree is a lot of fun. Better than just paper targets. I would recommend one to my friend.

Great Target!
This target’s a lot of fun! We took it out this weekend and it held up well to multiple rounds of dueling. The paint came off the paddles when shot, but there are orange stickers included and we’re going to spray paint them yellow again.

This target is so much fun
This is a fantastic target and really adds a competitive fun to shooting. That said even if you are a good shot if you try and go fast the base will take hits and it is not sturdy enough to withstand many hits. After the first outing and learning this, I built a thick block of wood backed with steel to stop any bullets from hitting the base.I haven’t looked but I would hope that the company offers replacement parts.

Flimsy
The paddles break off after being hit a few times. Poorly welded. The stand is too flimsy for the weight of the assembled stand. I only shot 9 mm training rounds at it.
