Heat Storm Phoenix Infrared Space Heater with Attachable Feet, Remote Control, Energy Efficient-750-1500 Watts, White Floor or Wall - HS-1500-PHX

We had been looking for a heater for our home office. Had a cheap resistance wire fan assisted one that was too noisy and with no remote. Looked a lot and very pleased with this purchase. Packaging was excellent and the finish of the heater higher than I expected. Pumps out 1500w of heat or 750 as determined by heater. Has strong fan with filters but quite quiet. Instructions were in clear English. Even included a sturdy plastic sheet template with a built in level to set up wall mounts. Controls temp accurately in deg c or deg F. Remote is simple but solid enough it wont get easily buried under some papers.

This heater has been a lifesaver in our guest bedroom. We didn't mount ours on the wall but instead leave it sitting on the floor. This way it's easily moved should that be necessary. The heater is easy to use, always produces a generous heat in a fairly quick time line, and is relatively quiet compared to heaters we've had in the past. That said, it is not totally quiet, but only in comparison to other heaters does it seem less noisy. My adult son was so impressed with it when he came to visit, he went home and ordered one for his place. We've been using it going on two years and have never had a single issue.

Well I was sceptical about this heater as I have had meany different kind. I heat a 8 x 38 shipping container (sea can) wich I live in our weather can dip to -25 to -30 c here. My can is not insulated in the floor and open under .. so when I tell you not eazy to heat I mean it I had one oil heater 1500 watt ant 2 ceramic 1500 watt heaters in there.. I received this heater in 2 days easy to set up and yes it makes noise not alot but enough to notice it is running. I dont mind it not loud enough to bother me. So does it work you want to know. YOU BET IT DOES !!!! I had to shut down all my other heaters at - 20 c I am toasty warm and wow even my floor for about 10 feet in front of it is warm too. So I am going to invest in another for the back part.. I dont often endorse a product so adamantly but this company has there heads on right with this product..

So I wasn't sure I'd keep this unit and was initially going to return it, but ultimately it's a fairly great heater and does help with a chilly part of my house. For the price it's I was expecting more heat output as I have a fairly big room that's chilly and was hoping for a drastic change. So I wanted to compare it to a cheap $30 unit I bought from Home Depot about 10yrs+ ago. However the fire storm unit has made the room more livable in cooler outside temps. Not sure the cost benefit is there compared to the $30 unit but you are getting a thermostat with auto heat modes to help on power saving whereas a cheaper unit is high/low/off, so that's the huge plus. However, in a big room don't expect a huge difference right away. You might be better off getting a stronger unit without the bells and whistles. For medium to small rooms this is an ideal unit especially if it's a bedroom where the thermostat will prevent you from waking up sweating. The fire storm is also aesthetically a plus too if you don't want an ugly space heater in a living space so that's a plus too. Having the ability to wall mount it is nice too if you want a more seemless look although for us we're not doing that. I included the $30 unit heater readings too for comparison. It would be nice to have a scheduling function too where it didn't run on certain day/time schedules like when everyone is at work/school.
