Not a secure connection
Not sure if this is going to work. I have an Apogee MIC that needs an adapter to connect to my new 10th gen iPad. As shown in the photo, the plug doesn’t completely fit into the adapter. I did a quick test and the mic seems to work but I am concerned about an inconsistent connection. The previous connector which I purchased from Apple that fit my older iPad was a snug connection.

Good, but could easily be improved
I hate the little 2" cord, why not just glue it to my iPhone? It did not do the job intended and I had to go another route. If Apple would quit changing their darn plug type everytime they come up with a new device, it wouldn't tick people off as bad.
