Missing parts
Didn't receive the capital "O" **edit** Delmach customer service reached out to me shortly after I left my original review and offered to refund my purchase. The quality of these tiles and their storage box is fantastic, so I requested the missing letter tile to complete the set. Within 3 days I had received a new complete set! Wonderful customer service!!

Durable Sandpaper Letters provide a unique tactile experience while practicing the Alphabet
I am using these letters to practice with my 5 y.o. grandson. The first time I had the box sitting out, we were about to start working with something else and he spotted them and immediately started pulling them out and asking what they were. That was a great start and even after he knew they were the alphabet, being on wood tiles gave them a unique feel. He hasn't really been intrigued by the sandpaper feel and tracing the letters doesn't excite him in particular. We have taken advantage of the sturdiness by placing the letters by objects that start with that letter and we have even done this outside. These sandpaper letters came very well packaged. They come divided into upper and lower case with each bundle packed in bubble wrap. In the bubble wrap, the letters were separated by a piece of paper so they wouldn't be wearing down the sandpaper letter during shipping. The wooden box to hold the letters is very nice and durable. I did keep the original cardboard box for storage since the letters could spill out of the wooden box.

Missing letter
I really like the set, but it's missing a lower case e--a critical vowel. I will probably return it unless the company can fix this oversight.

Excellent tactile letters
These tactile upper and lower case alphabet tiles are a great way for learning the alphabet for anyone who learns best by feel. There's a lot of educational value here and tactile learners can also visualize the difference between vowels and consonants based on color of the tiles. These fit in a nice wood box for easy storage.

High-quality
I’ve had a set of cardboard sandpaper cards for years, and I’m so happy to be upgrading to this great, high-quality set! The pieces are wooden and an are a nice size and thickness. I like that the vowels are on a different color piece. It would drive me nuts to use these to build CvC words since the letters are not aligned, but it helps me find letters I need more quickly. I love the wooden box and appreciate that it has a divider for uppercase and lowercase letters. It’s well made and I imagine it will hold up well for some time! Be sure to have kids wash their hands first so the yellow letters don’t get grimy. Note that the cards do have a chemically, paint smell upon opening, but it fades with time.

Great tactile Montessori letters
These are great wooden sandpaper letters. Each piece is a quality plywood, and fits inside a well designed box. I do kind of wish there was a separate box for a lowercase and uppercase to ensure the two sets stay where they belong, but the divider in the middle of the box will do it. The sensory aspect of the sandpaper is not as tactile as other sandpaper letters I have seen. It is a subtle difference between the wood and the sandpaper. Which my daughter actually prefers. I love that it comes with a card and instructions on the three part Montessori lesson

These were pricey but they do the trick and work for what you need them to. Each letter comes individually divided from the others with a thin piece of paper and the sandpaper seems secure. I like how they all fit in the box for easy tidying.

I only wish it had some sort of cover when not in use
