I did it myself
Now this product is excellent and very easy to install, but I do mean, but only problem is you got to have a lot of common sense and patience you got to have weakness and you cannot cut on the wires. The wires are the most expensive part besides buying the box cause you have to use wire that won't heat up and trust me you want that and bending them in the pipe you try to make the pipe invisible, which I did you see it a little bit coming from the junction box going into the garage and the pipe runs at the bottom of the floor like a 3 inch off the floor to the front of the garage and conduit and it looks real real nice I'm sorry I didn't have a picture but you gotta come back and take a picture and put it up now but anyway it's excellent. Charge is very fast no problems with the unit. Will let you know if you did something wrong. I did use a 60 amp breaker and the save you to harassment. I recommend that you install it close by the breaker if you do it inside the garage if you're doing outside the garage it makes it look even better which I did it outside but the cable was low enough to put it on the inside if I wanted to OK but anyway, long story excellent product excellent have no complaints at all with the money.

One charger to rule them all ⚡️
This charger is exactly what I needed. I’ve got a Tesla but sometimes have guests or family over with non-Tesla EVs—and this universal charger handles both like a champ. Setup was simple, the build feels super solid, and the charging speed is great on both NACS and J1772.

Nice looking Charger with option to charge with NACS and J1772
This EV charger is well made and if you have a Tesla, it makes sense to get a Tesla Charger. You will find some no-name brand charges for a bit cheaper but it's not worth the risk. I was on the fence on getting this charger (Universal Wall Connector) versus the Tesla Wall Connector (only NACS plug) for $120 less. This does the same thing the Tesla Wall Connector does but comes with a built-in NACS to J1772 adapter that is securely locked to the charger. For those with the Cybertruck, the Universal Wall Connector is the only charger that is capable of utilizing the Telsa PowerShare (home backup power). If you don't care for the J1772 adapter or the PowerShare, you can save some money by opting for the Tesla Wall Connector. Then if you need to charge a EV with a J1772 in the future, you can also purchase an adapter. For me, it was worth the extra $120 for this charger because I am getting a high quality NACS to J1772 adapter that is built into the charger. The adapter does locks into the charger when not in use and also locks into the NACS plug if charging with this adapter.Installation:Consult with an license electrical before installation. I opted to go with 6-AWG THHN copper wires and a 60-amp breaker for my install. If you use Romex, you may have to go with 4-AWG wires. Only three wires are required for the install (2 hots and a ground wire - no neutral wire needed). 6-AWG is the minimum size wire that Tesla recommends if you plan to charge at the 48A max output. The location of the Universal Wall Connecter is only a couple feet from my breaker panel. I purchase 6 ft of wires and use 3/4" flexible conduct. The mounting box has a pre-drilled top and bottom knockouts made for 3/4 conducts. If you go with a larger size conduit, you will have to drill a larger opening on mounting box. There are also some pre-marked holes to drill in the back of the mounting box if you prefer to have the wires come out from the wall.Usage:The charger works well. My Model 3 is set to charge at 32A and it charged from 20% to 80% in about 4.5 hours. The cable is long enough that it can reach from the front wall of my garage to outside (where my Model 3 is parked in the driveway). The charger allows setting the breaker size which will set the max amp charging output. I set it to 60-amp breaker, which will charge at a max of 48A. Your car should be able to control the output of the charge. If not, you can set it to a smaller breaker size and it will drop the charging output lower. Currently, there is no easy way to do this. You have to put the charger in commission mode and then connect to the charger's Wi-Fi and navigate to the charger's IP address. Only then can you change the output amperage on the charger. But this is not something an average user would need to do so Tesla may of made it inconvenient for this reason.2-MONTH UPDATE:* The charger is still working great. I have not encounter any issue yet. I mostly use the Tesla plug and used the J1772 adapter twice.* This price for this charger has increased by $25 while the price for regular Wall Connector has decrease by $25. Price difference is now $170 (no longer $120 as noted in my original review).8-MONTH UPDATE:I use this daily and it's still working without any issues. Also appended some notes about the Tesla Powershare to my original review.

Outstanding Universal Charger
I am very please with this charger. It is a universal charger with a Tesla charger head and a universal attachment which is super easy to use. It also looks great mounted to the wall.

Great for Tesla, good for any EV
This is our second Wall Connector. We have two EV's. Both are parked outside because we have no garage. We have EVSE's for each car. We got our first Tesla Wall Connector almost two years ago when we replaced a Nissan Leaf with a Tesla. It has worked flawlessly and has held up in the weather. When our second Leaf was totaled, we got a second Tesla. The Universal Wall Connector can charge any EV with its built in J1772 adapter. It can be monitored through the Tesla app and is competitively priced. Easy to configure with the app

Sleek and easy to install for electric vehicle charging.
This was purchased as a secondary mount for our second electric vehicle. My husband was able to install it on his own through the directions and it seemed to be simple enough without any major complications. We have had it installed for several months now and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. It is sleek and doesn’t take up a lot of space on the wall and works like a charm. We have not experienced any issues with heating or any other element whatsoever. Very happy with this purchase.

Adapter stuck in wall connector housing
It worked the first time i tried it BUT!Adapter stuck in universal wall connector. Charger pulsing green light indicating SSID broadcasting ready to commission. It's already commissioned and I can see it on the app. I tried to add it again but it says it's already added so I can't add it twice. Tried to remove it to add again, but there's no option to remove it from the app. I can charge my Tesla no problem, but the adapter is stuck in the wall connector I'm unable to charge my non Tesla.I had a Gen 2 tesla wall connector for a year before this, removed it and installed the universal version to charge my non Tesla. Apparently the universal version has this common issue (do a quick Google search and a bunch of people have had the same issue).Tried power cycling the circuit breaker but still same issue.
