This item seems to be OK. My dog weighs 75# it might slow the dog down if needed. I don't know if there is any safety testing done on this product. It connects securely to the lap belt and stops the constant chime reminding the driver there is something or someone in the front seat. It is easily adjusted and seems to fit 75# dog well. The strap material seems to be thinner than expected, Dog having this on is better than the dog wearing nothing.

Okay, it's not all leather and metal - but neither are seatbelts for humans! This is a soft, comfortable harness that's WAY EASY to put on (no need to lift a paw - great for dogs that don't like that process). I LOVE this harness and so does my furbaby. I did a LOT of looking and shopping and thinking and just HOPED I found one that would be acceptable to both me and my finicky dog - and I did! This is an awesome find. Thanks!

My dog has a VERY wide chest and neck since he is in the most part pitbull. The harness straps barely fit him maxed out in length. Good thing is the seatbelt strap isn't limited to only using this harness.The seatbelt portion is great. It fit my Ford F150 easily and left plenty of length for my boy to be in any comfortable position but protected from being flung forward. I'm so glad i got this!

Having 2 large GSD dogs who love car rides, I got these to keep them safe. They love the fact they can still have their nose out the window and I love the fact that they are safe in case I have to stop or turn quickly. The tether and vests are both adjustable so they have room to sit or lay down but the are confined to the back seat making it safer for me to drive without them jumping from front to back.

Was a good buy initially. My golden broke the strap. In half. He’s big but... not sure it was a manufacturing issue. He’s a year old and 90 pounds. Safety issue was that we were driving and he wanted to help. Nice guy. 😳

The harness fit perfectly. Having a pit bull with all the stigmas it comes with, I wanted to ensure her safety as well as the public's. Although I know her as a gentle lapdog, the harness allows others to feel safe when they encounter her. She wears it well and doesn't fuss at all when i put it on her.

We went to pick up our newest addition at Beagles & Buddies animal rescue, and had this harness for that very purpose.It fit like a glove and was extremely comfortable on the dog. It held him in place in the back seat while not over-restraining. I couldn't believe the value for the price. (Glad I purchased two!)
