I purchased this scratching post/bed for a relative's Maine Coon cat that was coming with her for over a month's visit. It was everything advertised and more. The cat loved it and never scratched on any of my furniture. The perch bed was ideal for watching squirrels and birds outside in the year. We liked that there was no toxic glue and was made of natural wood, no particle or composite board. That does make it heavy, but it is solid and sturdy, a big plus for a 25 lb. cat jumping in and off of it. Since my relative couldn't see shipping it back home for her cat, she definitely will be ordering another from Amazon to be delivered to her house. To make good use of it, I donated it to a local no-kill cat rescue house, and their cats are thrilled with it. Well worth the cost, the well-being of my relative's cat, and future of local rescue cats. A win-win all around.

This cat scratcher/bed is sturdy and made well. My cats immediately went to it, as in the picture, and I am sure this will be a favorite for them.Unfortunately after this picture was taken, I had to take it away from them, turn it upside down and let it dry out. It was delivered on a rainy day and I guess the delivery person was too lazy to put in on the covered front porch out of the weather. The box was saturated and the item was wet. I would suggest it be wrapped in plastic for protection. Fours stars because of shipping issues.

This cat bed/scratcher is sturdy as it is made with solid wood not particle board. It looks stylish and high quality in my livingroom. My cats really enjoy scratching on the sasil rope and it is angled perfectly in the scratch position that seems comfortable for my cats. The bed on top is plenty big for my largest kitty of 16 pounds with a little room to spare.If you are on the fence for this purchase go ahead and do it! This is quality that will last!Update: 2.5 years and 6 cats later this thing is still holding strong. The rope just started coming away but I believe it can probably be glued back together. Still well worth the price and I’m considering buying another as my cats absolutely love it!

My cat loves it! Very sturdy. My cat is pretty big and weighs 16 pounds. He fits very well in the top seat and loves using his perch to look out the window.He plays pretty hard though. He ripped off the toy underneath almost immediately. However, I think it will be easy to attach another toy to it. It is also pretty easy for my cat to drag it around the hardwood floor.It arrives fully assembled. My suggestion to the shipper would be to have some sort of cushioning within the package, as my box arrived with a hole in it. The scratching post was undamaged though. Like I mentioned, it seems pretty sturdy.Overall, I am happy with it and so is my cat, Frankie. If this were ever to wear out, I would buy it again without hesitation.

I have two kittens that love all types of cat houses. This one in particular is really great as it bed on top is really big to fit two regular cats/kittens on top and be comfortable in it for hours. Also great for the owner as it can be customized to match the room in which you are putting it in as the color options are pretty great. It came assembled ready for the cats to sniff and investigate as soon as it was out of the box. The construction of the perch is with high quality that any proud cat owner would love to have for their loved one. The scratching post is well made though can fray with time so beware of small pieces of rope though that is with all scratching post. The small jingle ball under the bed is a great extra touch that my cats really enjoy. No visible staples are shown and has a really sturdy base that won't topple over with fast cats jumping on the bed.I highly recommend this cat perch as will blend in perfectly with your room based on the colors available and your cats will love to use this perch to its full potential.

This is the perfect height and setup for my little tripod kitty (too high and he could hurt himself in a fall.) Some loose threads and things out of the box but nothing I couldn't fix myself. My only complaint is that I wish the blue were more true to the color in the picture--the blue I got is a kind of neutral / medium gray blue, I wanted the really saturated dark blue. I know the seller mentions it as a disclaimer but I was hoping for the best.

Sturdy product, large bed on top too big for kitten but she will grow into it. She loves it, climbs up and down all the time and plays peek-a-boo around the legs of it with our older cat.Wish the top bed had a little padding to make the bed softer. Otherwise, love it!

Everything about this was as advertised. It was fully assembled, and a sturdy piece. It still tips over when my cat leaps onto the bed, so I have it near a wall where it can't go anywhere. Unfortunately, neither of my cats are interested in scratching any of the 3 posts, nor playing with the toy hanging under it. Once in a while one of my two cats can be found in the bed part, but it doesn't seem their cup of tea. It would probably be of more interest to a cat who is already accustomed to scratching sisal.
