Works great for light surface moisture
We use it on a pickle ball court. It drizzles here, Seattle, frequently. gets up most of the water. We've found that having a couple of 3' sections of "dry deck mat" under the roller, then standing on the roller (careful it may roll) allows the absorbed water from a pass over the court to be wrung out.Lesson learned, almost all courts are built to drain, one side is higher than the other. Make sure you ring out the roller on the low side, else the water will run back onto the court.buy 2 you won't regret the speed of drying a court for a bunch of anxious players.DryDeck is available in boating and restaurant stores $4-$5/Sq ft

Very Similar to Name Brand Rol-Dri
If you've never used one of these tennis court roll dryers, they're actually amazing. You just have to know how to use them properly. If you start in the center of the court and start walking in overlapping concentric circles, you'll gradually push all the water out further and further away until it's all been pushed out to the edges of the fence and off the court. This roller is very similar to the name brand rollers by Rol-Dri. I'd say it's a little less heavy duty, but it is a fair bit more affordable as well, so it's good to have one of my own since the ones at my court tend to walk off on their own.Overall, very happy to have this handy. It's good for any situation where you need to move a large volume of water very quickly. The more you use it as a roller and less like a broom, the better the results will be.

great roller to dry tennis courts quickly
This item is a godsend for those spring showers that can dampen your mood & wreak havoc on your playing schedule. Roller is 3' wide & very firm which is great to push water away. Most courts are designed with 1 degree slope from long side to long side to allow proper water drainage. Take a few minutes to figure out which direction the slope is so you can get gravity to help you be more efficient rather than trying to push the same volume of water uphill. Wish the handle is quick release for easier storage in car's trunk. The hook to hang it up is too short, should be longer or at least U shape so it won't fall off if somebody runs into the fence. Heavy duty construction but not in weight.

UPDATE: Better than I originally thought!
UPDATED:Okay, so maybe I didn't give this enough of a try. When I first tried it, it didn't do enough to really absorb the moisture... and part of the problem was that the court I initially tried it on wasn't as uniformly flat as it should have been. A couple days later, I gave it another shot on a few other courts, and it did a pretty good job of soaking up a decent about of moisture. Again, it won't dry a court off perfectly, but it dramatically reduced the total drying time. I now feel like this is a pretty useful device.ORIGINAL:It works okay... BUT... you should be aware that it only works well on a truly flat-surface. And it doesn't really dry the surface so much as remove excess water from it. I don't have a private court, which means I use this on public courts. And most public courts are NOT perfectly even surfaces. There are areas that are slightly concaved and in which the water might pool up. This rolls right over those areas without doing much to actually pick up or remove the water... so those areas stay about as wet as they were before you rolled over them.In addition, while it might still help to remove excess water from an otherwise truly flat surface, a fair amount of moisture remains. It's not exactly what one might hope for. Could it help reduce drying time on a smooth even court? Yes. But I think dragging a few old towels around would do a better job.If you live in a more topical location like Florida or Hawaii and you get brief coastal rains in the middle of otherwise hot and sunny days, AND the courts you use are truly flat, then this might be worth it.

Sturdy, but a wide 36+/-“
We actually ordered this to use on our outdoor pool deck because it takes rainwater forever to dry after a storm, and the water gets tracked into the house from both dogs & humans alike. Our deck surface is a mildly textured concrete. This does a decent job of helping us to speed up the drying process. For our needs, this is a bit wide and cumbersome to work with in an enclosed area but I can see where it would be beneficial on a tennis or pickleball court. It is very sturdy with a very solid handle. The roller is a durable but spongy material. The handle has a hanging hook that could be used to keep it upright against a fence or receiving ring, but it’s so tight to the handle itself, that it renders is essentially useless. It’s a good product, but on the pricey side for my needs.

Nice addition for easy water removal on our tennis court
We repurposed an old tennis court on our property into a dog run for the winter however keeping it clean has been an interesting challenge. After hosing it all down we needed a way to get rid of the standing water quickly. This squeegee has been surprisingly effective! It's quite light, making it easy to move around.
