Moth Killer 2 X 500ML CARPET WITH 6 x MOTH TRAPS

I have bought this product a number of times, but have had a recurring problem with the spray pumps on the ProtectorC bottle not working properly. Sometimes they don’t work at all, and sometimes they work for a few sprays and then completely stop working after that. I think 1 of 6 bottles has worked for the whole duration of the bottle. I’ve ended up decanting the fluid into the working bottle, but it would be a lot easier if the manufacturer just made a decent pump!!

Bought this to tackle an ongoing carpet moth problem. those little bugs have munched through most of the carpet under the sofa without me realising! I used the spray and worked it into the pile a bit and within an hour little white maggots appeared on the surface of the carpet writhing around in death throws. I can say it definitely worked! I've retreated every month to ensure they've gone. The sticky traps also work by attracting the live moths. I've positioned in several locations around the house and caught moths. Again replaced every month. If you have found eaten carpet or spotted small brown moths on your walls its a good chance you have carpet moths. Check everywhere as they will continue to breed if you don't find them all. Our main damage was under the sofa but after treating and then checking the rest of the living room i found further evidence under several other pieces of furniture that are rarely moved. I have found evidence of live moths upstairs but no damage to carpets. The moths larvae only eat natural fibres. The upstair carpets are man made. Also worth checking all wardrobes and airing cupboards for evidence before they much your favourite jumpers.

All items ok except that the sticky traps each come with a small container in a sealed bag, the instructions say do open container but place inside the assembled triangular sticky trap. Unfortunately 2 of the containers were already open when removed from their wrapping so useless.

A waste of money, the spray bottles don’t spray and the traps don’t stick together, I don’t know how the moths smell the scent if the scent is sealed in the plastic!
