Sturdy
Offers a very nicely decorated Saya. Blades is sturdy but somewhat warped, as can be seen looking straight down the handle tiward blade end. Not as sharp as depicted in ad.

Another great sword of this type, and in a green color you can't find anywhere else
If you know what you're looking for, you'll know that these are mass-produced swords but they are still good quality. They have all the real parts, including high quality steel and a full tang construction: they're not lying about any of that. The reason the price is so low is due to a complicated combination of factors but rest assured that you are getting something many magnitudes of superior above your flimsy flea-market katanas... They do come nicely sharp but that is not important to me: It's just a mark of craftsmanship. The reason I went to this one is because I cannot find a green-colored blade anywhere else... It is really quite striking, though there are some little flaws and imperfections perhaps due to whatever process they use. It is definitely not painted or coated or dipped with anything, but like all colored swords it will scratch off if you're too hard on it. Overall, a great purchase if you're in this particular line of swords. The green is very unique and looks very good, the sageo and ito cords are a shiny emerald-green to match, and the tsuba is one of my favorites: heron and moon over waves.
