The Art and Making of Pacific Rim Uprising

Beautiful book, complements my original Pacific Rim artwork book. Worth every penny

I had initially held off ordering this book when PacRim Uprising was first released. I consider myself a collector of film "Art of" books, but I'm not rich so I often have to be more picky than I'd like. I saw other reviews stating that this book wasn't great, so I held off. However, now that I've ordered and read through it for myself, I'm a little puzzled why the book has received low ratings.I am a huge fan of the original Pacific Rim, and own a lot of the tie-in materials that were made for the film, including that "Art of" book. I love that one and how it includes little add-on papers inside as if the real schematics of the Jeagers were just offhandedly slipped inside the pages. I love little details like that! And if you have read "Art of Pacific Rim," and liked it, chances are you will like "Art of Pacific Rim Uprising" as well. There are huge sections for the Kaiju and Jeagers, as well as nice spreads for the characters, and gorgeous clear concept art. One of my pet peeves is when images are blown up in books to the point where they are pixelated, but that does not happen in this book (Yes!). The images are gorgeous and there is no shortage of them.While the actual film of Pacific Rim Uprising wasn't given particularly high ratings, I still think it had its high points, one of which being the gorgeous cinematography. I'm a huge fan of Dan Mindel, who has done work on Star Wars, Star Trek, and other big films, so the visual aspects of the film were a point of enjoyment for me. And for that reason I decided to screw the critics and finally buy this book! And I'm so glad I did--It's a delight!

Perfecto si quieres ver diseños de robots. Tiene pocos diseños de Kaijus pero Te explica perfectamente todo.

El libro contiene detalles sobre la realizacion de la pelicula asi como historia de loa personajes, las imagenes son de muy buena calidad y fue un excelente regalo para mi hijo de 7 años que lo disfruta mucho.
